Emmerdale’s shocking flashbacks to Ray Walters’ death will expose Marlon Dingle’s sinister plan

Emmerdale‘s upcoming flashback episode exploring Ray Walters’ death will expose Marlon Dingle’s sinister plan. The village has been plunged into chaos following the discovery of Ray’s body, with intense speculation over who killed the vile criminal.

There is no shortage of suspects whom Ray has wronged, and high on the list is Marlon, whose family was under threat from Ray and Celia after his daughter April was ensnared in their web and forced into dealing drugs.

A special upcoming flashback episode, which focuses on Ray’s death and promises to give fans the answers they have been waiting for, will reveal a sinister plan Marlon devised to rid his family of the threat Ray and Celia posed.

Set to air on 21 January, the episode will see all of the suspects in Ray’s murder and a compilation of scenes reflecting on Marlon’s journey since discovering April’s involvement with Ray.

After killing Celia, we see Ray standing over her dead body in shock, before collecting himself and leaving, grabbing a distinctive red sports bag.

But before leaving, he does his due diligence to cover his tracks, grabbing a cloth and wiping his fingerprints from the knife left in Celia’s back.

He is overwhelmed with grief, but not for his mother – rather for Bear Wolf, whose lifeless body lies upstairs in the home.

At the same time, we see Marlon despairing as he becomes convinced that Ray has April after the youngster went missing once again.

Determined to get answers from him, Marlon grabs a knife and sets out to find Ray – but does he use it?

He is not the only one in the frame for Ray’s death as Paddy Kirk, Bear’s son, learns the full horrific extent of his father’s captivity and is left speechless when Ray tells him that Bear is dead.

Heartbreak quickly turns to fury as Paddy grapples with the loss, but Ray warns him to back off or his own son Dylan will pay the price.
