General Hospital Icon Nicholas Alexander Chavez Makes A SUMMER Return To The Screen
There are many things that we sorely miss on General Hospital, but actor Nicholas Alexander Chavez as Spencer Cassadine is pretty high on that list! We are pretty sure that a large part of the GH fandom would agree with us on that! It has been quite a while since we last saw him, but we have not forgotten about him at all! He was well on his way to becoming one of the biggest super couples with Trina, the soapverse had ever seen.
Sadly, it seems SPRINA fans will have to satiate their cravings for their fav couple by binging on their past scenes, at least for the foreseeable future, because there are no signs of Nicholas returning to General Hospital as Spencer any time soon. However, we do have some exciting news for his fans who have been waiting to see him on the screen again.
Deadline is reporting that Nicholas Alexander Chavez has bagged yet another starring role in a big production. The GH alum will soon be seen alongside Lola Tung, Austin Nichols, and Gabbriette in the sequel to I Know What You Did Last Summer. The OG installment of the film came out in 1997 and starred, Freddie Prinze Jr., Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Ryan Phillippe in prominent roles.
The story was weaved around four friends who were stalked by a hook-wielding maniac following a tragic accident. In 2006, a sequel of the film came out. It was titled – I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. When we think about the storyline of the OG film, we can’t help but chuckle at the mention of a “hook-wielding maniac “.
