General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will face a red-carpet nightmare, so here’s why things will get tense before the Nurses Ball kicks off.

It turns out Nina and Drew will be hosting the red-carpet festivities together, so that’s not going to be a fun experience for either one of them!

Of course, we have to believe Drew will force his way into this gig.

Who in their right mind would want a disgraced congressman who just had a viral body shots video to host a charity red-carpet event?

Drew’s dealing with a major escort scandal right now, so he’s not exactly Mr. Popularity in the news.

That said, Drew did have a press conference declaring his innocence and his intention to prove it was a drugging setup.

It was an effort to do damage control – and this hosting situation with Nina may essentially be the same thing.

If the custody feud’s going to move forward, it’s important for Drew to fool everyone into thinking he’s a wonderful family man.

Drew may hope to plaster on a smile and charm the public into seeing him as a good guy again.

Regardless, GH fans know Drew is one of Nina’s least favorite people, so she certainly won’t enjoy hosting the red-carpet arrivals alongside him.

There are sure to be some tense moments along the way, especially if Drew whispers in Nina’s ear with some Jacinda (Paige Herschell) accusations.

Thanks to Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove), Drew knows that Nina approached the councilman when he was with Jacinda recently.

At some point, Drew could bring that up to Nina and see if he gets a rattled reaction.

Whatever the case, you can be sure that Drew and Nina will push each other’s buttons, but they’ll have to be careful when the cameras are rolling!
