General Hospital Spoilers: Has Drew Signed His Own Death Warrant – Fires Shot Against Sonny & Jason Won’t End Well
General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) may have overstepped his boundaries, during the Tuesday, February 4 episode.
After all, he approached Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) with official ‘congressman’ business, claiming the PCPD needs to focus on bringing the mob world in the little town down. He specifically named both Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), ultimately unofficially launching a war against them. This may not end well for Drew.
Drew Quartermaine Keeps Racking Up The Enemies
At this point, most of the town hates Drew, with the exception of Willow-Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante), and maybe Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms).
It’s hard not to think that as he’s got so many enemies a ‘who dun it’ storyline might not be on the horizon for Drew.
The character has been written in a corner, and it seems as if an exit is the only way, as a road to redemption storyline is likely out of the question. Even fans hate Drew, and not in the villainous way that they should.
Only death or prison might be the only way out for this character, so perhaps the GH writing team is thinking of a more creative way to craft Drew’s exit than the typical “murder mystery”.
Has Drew Signed His Own Death Warrant?
With Drew firing the first shot by telling the town’s police commissioner that it’s a priority to stop Jason and Sonny’s organized crime syndicate, the congressman’s cockiness may end up biting him in the butt.
Drew’s power trip since he’s become an elected official is reminiscent of another power trip that took place in 2024.
After all, FBI Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington), much like Drew, racked up the enemies during his return to Port Charles, and ended up regretting it when Sonny shot him point blank at the Quartermaine mansion; a crime the mob boss faced zero consequences for.
If Jason and Sonny find out what Drew told Anna, which is entirely possible considering how close Jason and Anna are, could the congressman suffer the same fate as John Cates?
