General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) isn’t going to rest until she gets some answers and seeks justice for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). However, that doesn’t mean Josslyn will connect the right dots and immediately figure out who’s responsible.

GH fans know Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) targeted Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) since a flashback scene proved it.

Of course, Cyrus’ bell also stopped ringing in Rice Plaza and gave away the fact that he attacked Dex.

There’s no proof that Cyrus tried to finish Dex off in his hospital room, but it seems likely that’s what happened under the circumstances.

The autopsy report will likely prove that Dex had digitalis in his system and that his demise went down just like Sam’s did.

Unfortunately, Josslyn may focus on the wrong suspect soon enough.

There was an interesting scene in the December 23 episode that could offer some hints about where things are headed in Josslyn’s storyline.

Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) had a conversation with Josslyn and said he was sorry to hear the tragic Dex news.

That left Josslyn confused about how Brennan even knew she was dating Dex, so some red flags were raised.

Brennan suggested that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) must’ve mentioned it, but the whole interaction felt odd.

It seemed like a way to stir up Josslyn’s suspicions a bit and set the stage for more drama somewhere down the line.

At some point, Josslyn may take a closer look at Brennan and start to worry that he’s the one who took Dex out.

Perhaps Josslyn will speculate that this all goes back to Dex scoring proof of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) dirty deal with Pikeman and any other info he uncovered during that time.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been speaking his mind about how he still doesn’t trust Brennan, so he’d at least be willing to listen to Josslyn’s theory.

Cyrus might even get wind of all this and decide to make Brennan a scapegoat!

Perhaps Cyrus could frame Brennan for both Dex and Sam’s fatal outcomes if the walls start closing in.

Regardless, there must be a reason why GH writers are creating some suspicions for Josslyn, so she may put the wrong puzzle pieces together and become convinced that Brennan is behind her crushing loss.

Josslyn might end up thinking Brennan was monitoring Dex and that he ultimately sent someone to get rid of him.

That could obviously lead to major issues between Josslyn and Carly, especially if Carly rushes to Brennan’s defense and refuses to believe he’s to blame.
