Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is ready for a fresh start, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) makes a discouraging discovery, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) debrief.

Fresh Starts

Trina has faced a challenging year, struggling to cope with the heartache of losing Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez); however, it seems she’s on the verge of a fresh start.

She confides in her closest friend, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), revealing that Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) has invited her out for the evening. With Valentine’s Day lighting up Port Charles, it appears that Trina and Kai are set for their first date.

Josslyn, though, wears a hint of sadness, likely reflecting on her own grief over Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and the loss of Spencer just over a year ago. Yet, Trina seems poised to embrace a new chapter in her life, and that’s a promising sign.

Getting Closer

Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) are deep in conversation at the PCPD, focused on a critical case. Anna is sharing her insights about the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) investigation with Mac, expressing her strong intuition that they are closing in on him.

Cyrus stands as the main suspect in the chilling digitalis overdose murders of Dex and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), along with another victim.

Despite Josslyn nearly jeopardizing the investigation, it appears they are making headway, and answers are on the horizon. However, unbeknownst to them, spoilers hint that Cyrus is poised to make his next move!

An Unwelcome Visit

Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) arrives at Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) home, clearly on the hunt for Willow; however, she’s not around—she’s busy at work, leaving Drew to face her mother instead.

He comments, “this is going to be a tough room,” picking up on the palpable tension and resentment Nina feels towards him, despite their past being rooted in a tumultuous affair.

Nina nearly revealed Drew’s deceitful nature—juggling a relationship with her while simultaneously pursuing her daughter.

Yet, she hesitated to expose him to Willow, especially now that a genuine mother-daughter connection is blossoming. Meanwhile, she and Carly have joined forces to tackle how to protect Willow and her children from Drew!

Discouraging Discoveries

At the hospital, Willow feels a wave of disappointment as she converses with someone, likely Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight); she questions him, “Are you telling me I’m going to lose?”

Her concern revolves around her children, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko), for whom she is fighting for sole custody.

Drew’s unexpected actions complicated her custody battle when he climbed over the wall to enter the Quartermaine gatehouse and was caught.

Meanwhile, Martin had enlisted Elaine Smith (Judy Kain) to dig up some information to determine if Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was the father of Sasha’s baby, but instead, that didn’t happen.

Sasha Seeks Out Jason

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) remains in custody at the PCPD following his arrest by Anna for threatening Cyrus, a situation that arose after Martin filed charges against him.

Sasha arrives to visit Jason, but she’ll need to wait as he’s currently occupied with another visitor. As of now, he hasn’t been granted bail, and there’s no sign that Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has visited him at the jail.

It might take some time before Sasha can see Jason, and during her wait, she could have the opportunity to chat with her Uncle Mac.

Will she share with Jason the few details she managed to uncover from Elaine’s notebook, or will she simply update him on her dog-sitting adventures?

Elizabeth Is There With Updates

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is currently at the station with Jason, with Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) also making an appearance, according to the latest spoilers.

She informs Jason that they believe they’ve discovered the evidence needed to put Cyrus behind bars. The investigation surrounding the hospital has been ongoing, especially since Elizabeth recently returned to her role as Head Nurse.

Additionally, she and Lucky managed to discreetly obtain some paperwork from Turning Woods, which they likely handed over to the authorities.

Exes Debrief

Elsewhere, it seems Sonny might be at Carly’s house as she presses him to reveal what’s truly happening. Carly is well aware that Sonny was likely targeted when Michael found himself in the midst of the firebombing at his apartment.

She also knows that Sonny has arranged custody with Ava Jerome (Maura West), given that Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) has been staying with her.

Perhaps her inquiry revolves around his unexpected trip out of town and his quick return; despite their years of being divorced, she may sense that something isn’t quite right.

She had a hunch something was off months ago when someone was interfering with his medication, and she won’t shy away from asking about his health then, and she wouldn’t be now.
