General Hospital Spoilers: Shocking Whodunit Coming – Who Will Fall Victim – Drew Or Cyrus?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease a shocking whodunit-depending on how shocking this really would be, that is!
Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) are fast becoming public enemies in many peoples’ eyes; who’ll be taken down-Drew or Cyrus?
Too Much Death And Destruction
The roster of enemies keeps expanding, and we can’t ignore the unsettling thought that one of them might soon become a victim of a dark murder plot.
Let’s face it—Port Charles has seen its fair share of heartbreak and loss in recent months. Some might even say it’s been excessive.
In just the past year, we’ve witnessed the tragic deaths of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), and Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) baby.
To top it off, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had a brush with death in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse.
More Death Could Come To Port Charles
Port Charles is bracing for more tragedy as the community grapples with the loss of Leslie Charleson, which will inevitably lead to the explanation of Monica Quartermaine’s demise.
This grim turn of events has us speculating that further death or even attempted murder could be looming, particularly involving Drew or Cyrus.
Our hunch that either Drew or Cyrus might find themselves in peril is rooted in their current narratives and the growing number of residents who harbor deep resentment towards them. Take Drew, for instance.
He’s fully embraced his villainous persona, becoming arguably the most frustrating character on the soap in recent years.
We won’t delve deeper into it here, but social media is buzzing with fans voicing their frustrations with Drew almost every day, and they have plenty of reasons to do so.
Drew Cain Has No Remorse
Drew shows no signs of guilt after having an affair with his nephew’s wife. Even while Michael battles for his life in a hospital, Drew has audaciously inserted himself into the custody drama surrounding Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
And this, much to the outrage of Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), Sonny, and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) who were livid.
This newly-elected congressman has also made a formidable enemy in Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) due to his underhanded tactics involving her daughter.
He’s also made an enemy of a former friend, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), whom he deceived and threatened regarding Aurora.
Drew Cain’s Made A Lot Of Enemies
Not to mention, he’s earned the ire of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) for his betrayal of Michael. And let’s not forget, Willow might soon add her name to the list of those seeking revenge once she discovers Drew’s affair with her mother.
In short, Drew has ruffled a lot of feathers, and many are ready to settle the score. All Drew has now as family is his daughter, Emily “Scout” Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) and she can’t be happy being ripped from her brother Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
She’s also been separated from Rocco Falconeri, (Finn Carr) who she became close to, and her grandmother and aunts.
Cyrus Renault Is More Likely To Meet A Cruel Fate
Cyrus is a figure shrouded in mystery; is he a twisted angel of death or simply a bloodthirsty killer?
With the shocking murders of Sam and Dex hanging over him, suspicion is mounting; grief can drive even the most loving individuals to seek vengeance. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is reeling from Dex’s tragic death and firmly believes Cyrus is the culprit.
After discovering Dex’s gun and choosing to keep it, she might be tempted to take matters into her own hands once she gathers enough proof of Cyrus’ wrongdoing. However, it’s likely that Jason or Carly will intervene before she crosses that line into vigilantism.
Then There’s Alexis Davis And Dante Falconeri
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are in a precarious situation; with the shocking revelation of Sam’s murder, the stakes are higher than ever.
If they uncover any evidence pointing to Cyrus as the culprit, their emotions could spiral out of control.
Could Alexis awaken her hidden Cassadine instincts and embark on a path of vengeance? Meanwhile, Dante, a dedicated police officer and son of Sonny, might find himself tempted to take matters into his own hands and deliver his own brand of justice.
And let’s not forget Kristina, who undoubtedly inherited Sonny’s fiery temperament—she could very well be the one to confront Cyrus head-on.
Then There’s Jason Morgan
Let’s not overlook Jason-although he wasn’t by Sam’s side in her last years, his love for her has endured, and they have a child together.
With Jason’s knack for vengeance, it’s hard not to wonder if he might target Cyrus as well. If we had to make a prediction about who’s in the most peril between Drew and Cyrus, our money’s on Cyrus.
He’s trapped in a situation with no apparent escape, and the few family connections he has in town want nothing to do with him.
Whether he meets his end or is sent back to Pentonville, it’s tough to envision him sticking around Port Charles for much longer.
