General Hospital Spoilers Weekly Update August 18-22: Sonny & ADA Turner Team Up, Maxie’s Heart Attack

General Hospital spoilers for August 25-29, 2025 tease team-ups and discoveries after new enemies were made this week in Port Charles.

Episode 15777 AIR DATE: MONDAY, AUGUST 18, 2025

After Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason (Steve Burton) saw each other, she went back to her room and Jason appeared in her doorway. After Joss (Eden McCoy) shot the assassin, Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) finished him off and they dumped the body. Stella (Vernee Watson) agreed to answer questions, then Martin (Michael E. Knight) arrived to represent her and found out he’s a suspect as well. Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brook Kerr) consummated their reunion until they got a call about Stella. Drew (Cameron Mathison) threatened to turn Michael (Rory Gibson) in for assault unless Sonny (Maurice Benard) gave in to all his demands, unbeknownst to Drew that ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor) was there overhearing the entire thing. When Maxie (Kirsten Storms) appeared on a live Home & Heart segment for Deception, she suddenly collapsed.

Episode 15778 AIR DATE: TUESDAY, AUGUST 19, 2025

Jason asked Britt what was going on, but she blew him off, still angry at him for breaking things off to marry Carly (Laura Wright) in order to save Sonny’s business. When Maxie was brought to GH, Lucas (Van Hansis) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) worked to save her from an apparent heart attack. Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Lulu (Alexa Havins), Felicia (Kristina Wagner), Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), Lucy (Lynn Herring), and Anna (Finola Hughes) all held vigil at GH. Carly and Nina (Cynthia Watros) argued over Michael and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) by the pool and when Nina lunged at Carly, Carly pushed her into the pool. ADA Turner asked Anna to make a case against Drew, but didn’t disclose what she’d learned about him.

Episode 15779 AIR DATE: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20, 2025

Lucas got Maxie stable, but discovered an unknown enzyme in her blood that may have caused the heart attack. Concern about Maxie not waking up hung over everyone while Anna questioned if Maxie could have been poisoned. Mac (John J. York) and Cody (Josh Kelly) bonded over their shared love for Maxie. Lulu went to Maxie’s house to watch the kids when Liesl (Kathleen Gati) arrived and, together, they gently told the kids what was going on with their mom. Emma (Braedyn Bruner) confided in Gio (Giovanni Mazza) about her worry for Maxie. Drew accidentally let it slip to Martin that he knew about Stella’s insurance fraud accusation and Martin realized Drew was the one who made the claim. After Michael went to the PCPD for questioning, Chase (Josh Swickard) revealed he had no witnesses to his assault on Drew. When Drew arrived to sign his statement, Martin was asked to also sign as a witness, but he refused.

Episode 15780 AIR DATE: THURSDAY, AUGUST 21, 2025

Ric (Rick Hearst) asked Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for a final payment, just like Ava (Maura West) had already done. When Martin refused to sign the statement, Drew fired him as his lawyer and Michael was free to go. This prompted Drew to go see Willow at GH and inform her that Michael assaulted him. Alexis agreed to represent Stella and they figured out that Drew had to be behind what happened. While writing her romance novel, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) realized she has feelings for Cody. When Ava showed up at the stables to see Cody, he admitted he needed to be honest with her. Lulu and Brook Lynn agreed to put their differences aside to be there for Maxie.

Episode 15781 AIR DATE: FRIDAY, AUGUST 22, 2025

Brenna (Chris McKenna) arrived at Bobbie’s to help Carly fix something in the kitchen. Molly confided in Michael about her feelings for Cody, while Ava approached Cody and the two shared a kiss. When Molly arrived at the stables, she walked in on them kissing. Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Willow went at it after Willow asked Kristina to testify on her behalf, then Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) suggested to Kristina that she go easy on Willow the same way she went easy on her about the accident. Joss and Vaughn made no progress in finding Britt, but Joss stumbled upon Jason. Later, Britt arrived at Jason’s room out of jealousy when she saw him with another woman. Laura (Genie Francis) lent an ear to Lulu as she vented about her worry for Maxie.

Coming up in Port Charles, Trina (Tabyana Ali) teams up with Kai (Jens Austin Astrup), while everyone gets an update on Maxie.
