General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that Chad Duell stunned fans when he recently announced on Instagram that he was exciting the role of Michael Corinthos.

Executive producer, Frank Valentini confirmed Duell’s departure shortly after the actor’s post, noting there were no plans to recast the character, which means Michael is set for a shocking exit storyline.

Right now, he’s involved in a tumultuous storyline with his wife, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), and the two are having massive issues in their marriage.

Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) is partly to blame for this, thanks to his constant pursuit of Michael’s wife; however, Michael is guilty of his own lies, as he had a drunken one-night stand with Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), recently.

To thicken the plot of this storyline, Michael knows about Willow and Drew’s fling in the Quartermaine mansion nursery, but they don’t know he knows.

Plus, Willow has yet to find out about her husband’s steamy night with her best friend.

Fans can feel a massive confrontation between Michael and Willow coming, and when the truth comes out, things could get heated between the two.

Accidents happen in the land of Port Charles all the time, and the consequences can be fatal.

One only must look at the recent face-off between Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) that resulted in Baby Irene’s-Baby Adela’s passing to see that if Michael and Willow get into a fight, it could get ugly, fast.
