‘General Hospital’ Star’s Alleged Death In Tsunami

General Hospital, as with any long-running series, has showcased a number of talented stars over the years, with many fans concerned for their well-being. Recently, one actor known for their work on the show was the subject of rumors claiming that they had recently lost their life. This also took place amid a natural disaster. Since then, however, fans have been given an update concerning the story on social media.
A Story Came Out Claiming One General Hospital Star Was Killed During The Recent Hawaiian Tsunami
General Hospital first premiered in 1963. Since then, the soap has boasted a number of cast members, some of whom have spent decades as part of the show.
Recently, one of the series’ stars had become the subject of rumors claiming that they had been killed. According to reports, the star was allegedly killed during a recent tsunami in Hawaii.

Nancy Lee Grahn has had a prominent career in soaps, appearing in shows like One Life to Live and Santa Barbara. In 1996, she joined the cast of General Hospital as Alexis Davis. She also appeared as the character of the spin-off, Port Charles.
Recently, reports of Grahn’s death began to circulate on social media. According to these claims, the actress was killed during recent reports of tsunamis in Hawaii.
A Few Rumors Have Come Out Concerning High-Profile Figures Amid The Tsunami
However, the actress herself took to social media to debunk these claims. Taking to Instagram, she shared a post including a screenshot of an article claiming that she had lost her life.
Proving the reports to be untrue, Grahn wrote in a caption, “I’m Baaaaack!!!!! Another Soap Diva returns from the dead.”
The stories had likely gained traction because the actress recently shared photos and videos of her vacation in the state on the platform. During this time, one post from the actress actually included an emergency alert concerning the tsunami.
As previously reported, the tsunami has caused quite a few rumors to come out concerning high-profile figures in the state. Media icon Oprah Winfrey, for example, had been the subject of rumors that a private road on her residence had been closed during evacuations in the area. However, a spokesperson and local authorities later debunked the claim.
With Grahn’s recent post, many fans shared their relief that the actress was alright in spite of the stories. Of course, with Grahn’s status as a soap opera star, many poked fun that her proving a death report wrong is rather fitting. Some comments included:
- “My heart never dropped so fast! Don’t do that!!”
- “Omg I got nervous for a minute! Glad you’re not [dead.]”
- “I’m glad you were resurrected!! You’re in good soap company (seriously, I’m very glad you are okay, my friend.)”
- “Shaking my damn head! Just like Britt Westborne, #GRAHN IN back back back again!”
- “You better still be here because you need to win your daytime Emmy ..Don’t scare me like that again.”
