General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kelly Thiebaud (ex-Britt Westbourne) recently spoke out after getting rehired at GH. Once the news of Thiebaud’s upcoming return broke, she shared a thrilled message on social media and generated even more excitement.

Of course, the show hasn’t confirmed yet whether Thiebaud is reprising the role of Britt Westbourne or playing a new character.

Either way, many viewers are looking forward to having Thiebaud back on-screen at last.

Thiebaud herself is obviously looking forward to that as well, so she posted a great video on Instagram that featured her dancing with joy.

As part of Thiebaud’s celebration, the returning GH actress also included a statement of gratitude since fans have been so supportive.

“You guys rock!!! I am blown away by the outpouring of love and excited from yall!!

You have no idea how much this means to me. Thank you,” Thiebaud said.

Fans aren’t the only ones eager to see Kelly Thiebaud back on the show.

Some of Thiebaud’s costars are also pleased since she’s been getting some supportive comments from them, too.

“Love thissssssss,” Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain) said in the comments before Thiebaud replied that she was excited to work together again.

“Can’t wait!” Katelyn MacMullen (Willow Corinthos) said next, which prompted Thiebaud to insist they’re going to have some fun.

The show’s keeping a tight lid on the details of Kelly Thiebaud’s return storyline, which will kick off this July.

However, you can bet it’s going to bring some soapy curveballs when the time comes.

Will Britt Westbourne somehow be alive through some wild explanation? Could Thiebaud be playing someone brand-new to Port Charles or a recast of another existing character instead?

Britt got a mention in the June 6 episode when Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) reminisced about her by the pool, so we’ll see if that turns out to be a hint or not.
