General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, August 1 tease taking action, mission changed, and reassurance needed!
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) has to take action, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn’s (Bryce Durfee) mission’s changed, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) needs some reassurance!
Taking Action
Lucas confides in Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) at the hospital, and she will give him some counsel-he says he can’t just keep looking the other way.
More than likely, he’s still got a skeleton full of bones to pick with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) over his kidnapping of Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo).
Lucas has been very upset over Sonny and the power he holds over Lucas’ loved ones and friends.
He can’t even convince his own sister Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to quit making excuses for the mobster. Will Felicia be able to help him make a plan of action?
Calling In Backup
At the Metro Court Pool, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) make a plan-Emma managed to score Vaughn’s (Bryce Durfee) master facility key.
This happened as Vaughn was laying on a chaise by the pool and Outback the dog jumped on him. Emma plans to use the key to break into Professor Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab.
But she tells Gio that just in case, she’s calling in some backup, as Outback barks. Is Outback going to be the backup, or is Gio, that’s the main question!
Alexis Wants Answers
Elsewhere, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) asks what happened, as her mother Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) wants answers!
The past days have been very traumatic for poor little Emily “Scout” Cain (Cosette Abinante) and she’s confused.
It looks like she’s still staying with Kristina and Alexis as there’s no way she’s going home with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)!
Kristina’s already been brought in the loop about the wedding that wasn’t and the reasons why, with the big bombshell dropped by Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Alexis’ plate is already full with keeping Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) at bay, as is Kristina’s—“what happened” perhaps should be “what happened now?”
Mission Changed
In the meantime, Josslyn and Vaughn have been called into the WSB field office where they’re talking to Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna).
Their mission has changed-they are no longer trying to get into Dalton’s lab, he’s no longer the primary target.
This obviously has come about since the tracker that Josslyn put on Dalton’s courier Greta’s (Carolyne Maraghi) bag disappeared then reappeared on the tracking.
They know that the courier was bound for Dubrovnik, Croatia but lost track of her for a short time. Now Brennan wants to put the focus on whoever Greta made contact with in Dubrovnik, most likely.
What Behavior?
Elsewhere, someone is confronting Sonny about his behavior, and he asks what behavior are they talking about?
Might the acting district attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) be breathing down his neck again, and if so, about what?
It’s a good bet whoever is confronting him about his behavior is now happening because of Lucas’ conversation with Felicia.
Sonny was merely making a power play, forcing Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) agreement to lay off his piers.
After all, Sidwell endangered his daughter Kristina, even though he tried to frame Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) associates in the process.
Reassurance Needed
Jason is talking to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and needs some reassurance-he tells her he saw something and he needs her to tell him it’s not just in his head.
He knows he saw Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) alive in the Paris airport, and also has information that her cremation order was never signed off on.
He’s talked to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and he’s convinced if Britt’s alive, her mother knows nothing about it.
Jason knows he has to track her down and find out what’s happened-he understands he was presumed dead by the time Britt “died”.
That makes sense as to why she didn’t try to contact him, other than his hurting her when he married Carly for five minutes when Sonny returned from Nixon Falls.
Britt Encounters A Mystery Man
In the meantime, Britt encounters a mystery man at the door of her suite in the Five Poppies Dalmatia resort in Dubrovnik.
The man could be a WSB agent considering Josslyn and Vaughn’s mission has changed-he tells Britt she’s not going anywhere.
He has a foreign accent and a voice reminiscent of someone she’s known in her past-and her mother was held captive by!
Is this someone who Britt needs to be afraid of, is he ready to hold her captive or arrest her? Will she soon be in need of a rescue?
