General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may finally find a lasting romance! He encounters his former love, Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), at an airport during the week of July 14-18.
Jason’s Remained Single With No Romance Since Returning To Port Charles
Since Jason’s return over a year ago, he has stayed single, even though he is the most sought-after bachelor in Port Charles.
While his career may not be perfect, women are attracted to a handsome, bad boy with a hint of a moral compass, making Jason the complete package.
Sadly, when Jason came back, things didn’t go well with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), as she was head over heels for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
JaSam was a legendary super couple, and although some fans hoped for a reunion, Sam’s tragic passing in late October 2024 dashed any hopes of that happening in the near future.
Nothing the writers have tried for Jason regarding any kind of romance has worked out since.
Various Chem Tests And Romance Potentials Have Happened
The show tried to create a romantic storyline between Jason and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), but many viewers of GH felt uncomfortable after their kiss.
The past relationship between him and Anna’s daughter, Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCollough), was simply too significant to overlook – or to let her mother swoop in and take her ex.
There were also suggestions that Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) might have had feelings for Jason, but that idea was dismissed as well.
Jason had a genuinely unique bond with Sam, yet he also shared remarkable chemistry with Britt. It’s arguable that the sparks between Britt and Jason were just as powerful as those he experienced with Sam.
Fans Wanted Britt With Jason
Indeed, when Jason returned, numerous GH viewers had “hoped” that Britt was still in Port Charles. Sadly, she met her end in early 2023 due to The Hook, also known as Heather Webber (Alley Mills), who attacked the kind doctor.
Britt and Jason had so much more to share in their story, and it was unfortunate that the couple never had the opportunity to delve into it.
Nevertheless, what GH fans desire, GH fans receive, and the soap resurrected Jake Webber (Hudson West) after his tragic fate as a child.
This was after a kidney donation to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) – then surely bringing Britt back would be a piece of cake, wouldn’t it?
Kelly Returns The Week Of July 14, Jason Thrown!
Kelly Thiebaud is set to make her return to the canvas during the week of July 14-the preview reveals Jason is at the airport, when he notices someone he recognizes.
The expression on Jason’s face conveys everything, as he appears both puzzled and emotional while watching Britt – or someone who closely resembles her – walk past.
Fans of GH can’t shake the feeling that Britt is making a comeback, whether she’s suffering from amnesia or has intentionally distanced herself from Port Charles for various reasons.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Sutton) has been revisiting Britt’s involvement in Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) birth.
Along with the announcement that Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is also returning to the series, all signs indicate that Thiebaud will be reprising her role as Britt Westbourne.
