Unraveling Secrets
After discovering the contents of the file on Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase’s (Amanda Setton) desk, Rocco is demanding explanations, leaving Lulu completely blindsided!
In disbelief, she requests Rocco to allow her to contact his dad first, wanting to clarify the situation regarding Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) surrogacy, which was both unintended and initially unknown to her and Dante.
Neither Lulu nor Dante had informed Rocco about his origins from a stolen embryo, as he was too young to comprehend before Lulu fell into a five-year coma.
Rocco appears astonished as he inquires, “You didn’t give birth to me, she did?” Rocco won’t even let his mother call his dad, he wants answers before Dante can get there!
Brook Lynn And Cody Clear The Air
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn is having a conversation with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), and it appears she’s facing a hefty slice of humble pie. She mentions, “one of us has to be the bigger person,” possibly referring to herself and Lulu?
It seems likely that’s who she means, as she blames Lulu for the entire Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) situation. She’s unaware that her act of revenge, which involved uncovering Rocco’s birth records, is now in motion.
In a prior chat with Maxie Jones (currently Nicole Paggi), she confessed to backing out of telling Rocco, but he’s already in the loop!
Explosive Confrontations
Josslyn has a quick temper as she confronts her WSB handler and potential boyfriend Vaughn (Bryce Durfee)!
It appears they are near a location where a July Fourth celebration is happening, with the backdrop adorned in red, white, and blue metallic streamers.
He’s shirtless while she’s dressed, and after sharing a kiss earlier outside the remnants of Charlie’s Pub, it’s clear she has had a change of heart.
Josslyn is extremely frustrated as she “breaks up” with Vaughn, very early in what seemed to be the beginning of a romantic relationship. She shouts, “This isn’t working, we’re finished!”
Carly And Gio Discuss Sonny
After being harassed by Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), who intended it as a warning, Gio is now in conversation with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Given her long history of dating or being married to Sonny, Gio appears to be seeking her perspective on the matter.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) had dismissed Sonny to Gio, but he wasn’t convinced by her arguments.
Carly is honest with Dante’s newly-revealed son, admitting that she would be lying if she claimed there wasn’t another side to the story.
She will likely clarify what transpired with Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) and explain that it wasn’t actually Sonny’s fault.
Innocent Act
Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is interrogating Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota), likely inquiring about the death of Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue).
Sidwell is certainly employing blame-shifting tactics to redirect Anna’s suspicions towards Sonny, as he previously framed Selina Wu (Lydia Look) for the fire at Charlie’s.
He feigns innocence with Anna just as he did with his own son, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), pretending to be taken aback by the news of Charlie’s Pub burning down.
He fully embraces the role of the grieving ex-husband as he tells Anna, “If you’re seeking answers, look to him!” Both he and his son Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) are accusing Sonny of being responsible for Natalia’s death.
Urgent Damage Control
In the questioning area of the Port Charles Police department, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is having a discussion with Sonny, who has now been uncuffed. ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) had asked a few inquiries but then left in a hurry.
Laura worries about how her relationship with him is harming her poll numbers, after the discussion with Lulu.
Lulu had forewarned her that she needed to dissociate from Sonny, and Laura pointed out the troubles with Councilman Hatchet Job Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove). Sonny indicates that there might be a way to do damage control and lessen the impact.
