General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, July 22 tease wedding dreams, encouraging friends, and nightmares come true!
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) dreams of her wedding, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) encourages his friend, and Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) nightmares come true!
Wedding Dreams
At the hospital, Willow is dreamy eyed as she tells Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) that tomorrow she becomes Mrs. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)!
Elizabeth smiles, but she doesn’t tell her what she likely thinks about it, because she knows Drew isn’t the man she remembers!
But the two are at work and nursing needs come first-so they need to prioritize patients and their needs.
Willow can dream all she wants but her hero isn’t being very heroic these days. No one who knew him from before can believe he’s the same man!
Martin Has News, Tracy Reacts
It’s likely Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) who Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) reacts to as she tells him, “That’s never going to happen!” when he gives her some news.
Perhaps he’s apprising her of Willow and Drew’s wedding, as it’s being done as soon as possible to portray them favorably in the future custody hearing.
As far as she’s concerned, it’s over her dead body-or Drew’s, that they will ever get custody of Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko).
But then there is also the referendum to be concerned with, and her trying to get Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) taken down.
Encouraging Friend
At the hospital, Isaiah tries to encourage his friend as Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is in an impossible spot, being blackmailed by Drew to fake Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) medical records.
Drew wants those records to show that he’s addicted to opioids, which wouldn’t be surprising for a burn victim on strong pain pills.
Portia has been struggling with coming clean and losing her medical license and her family, which Drew warned her she would if she didn’t cooperate.
Portia must be telling her possible plans to Isaiah, based on his response to her. He tells her if she’s going down, then go down swinging!
Nightmares Come True!
Lucas’ nightmares seem to be coming true, as he stands in the police station with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor).
Turner tells the two men as she has a file in her hand that the PCPD needs to treat this as a potential abduction. Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) is still missing after not showing up at his mother’s memorial service, and Lucas blames Sonny.
Marco is still being held in what appears to be a storage room, tied to a chair, after trying to escape. Has anyone checked on him after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) took Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Daisy Gilmore (Evelyn and Brenden Beimford) to safety?

Evil Expectations?
Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) body language says he has evil expectations as he stands outside and makes a call on his phone.
He’s deadly serious-emphasis on deadly-as he says he expects to get what he’s due in return! His son is still missing and he’s sure Sonny has him as well, but Sonny seems to have him at a disadvantage.
Sidwell’s people haven’t found Marco and Sonny made it plain his son’s fate is in Sidwell’s own hands. So what exactly has Sidwell got planned, and how will he retaliate?
Laura Gets Disturbing Information
In the meantime, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is with Sonny when she gets some disturbing information, and he seems to be encouraging her to take action. He tells her if she doesn’t, he will-and the look on her face is very serious, as is his also.
It’s possible this has something to do with the piers that Sonny and Sidwell are in an argument over. As far as Laura is concerned, Sonny is the lesser of two evils-but not everyone is in agreement.
