General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, July 16 tease regretful confessions, big decisions and dastardly plans!
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) makes a regretful confession, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) ponders a big decision, and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) lays out dastardly plans!
Regretful Confessions
At the Quartermaine mansion, Nina stayed around after her irritating meeting with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) hoping she’d run into Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).
Sasha told her that she and Daisy Gilmore (Levi Clark Coughlin) were leaving town, and that they were in danger.
Nina makes a regretful confession that she is the reason sweet Daisy is in danger-it sounds like she suspects Willow Tait (Katelyn McMullen) is the one gaslighting Sasha!
Nina seems torn between her birth daughter and her former fake birth daughter, stuck in the middle of the uncomfortable situation. What can she do to fix this situation-especially given her blackmail by Tracy?
Big Decisions
Shortly after Nina left the solarium after meeting with Tracy at the Quartermaine mansion, Michael came home and told Tracy about the situation with Sasha and Daisy. He may still be talking to Tracy as he says, “What’s to stop me from leaving with Sasha and taking my kids?”
He and Sasha and Willow got into a tense argument at GH, where the visitation hearing for Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko) was brought up.
To say Willow had a bad reaction over it being moved to October was the understatement of the century! But Michael doesn’t expect to lose sole custody anytime soon, so legally, there really isn’t anything that could stop him from leaving with Sasha and taking his kids!
Still at GH, Drew and Willow continue their emotional conversation over Michael pushing the visitation hearing until October; Willow looked ready to have another breakdown!
Now Drew lays out his dastardly plan, saying they were going to give Michael a taste of his own medicine for not reconsidering working with them where custody is concerned.
What he doesn’t know-at least not yet-is that Willow has already been doing exactly that with her using Daisy to gaslight Sasha; will Willow admit it to Drew?
Only Drew’s plan will have more than Daisy involved-it’s quite possible there’s a child abduction being planned of Amelia and Wiley.
There’s no reason Drew would be interested in kidnapping Daisy, although she would make a good bargaining chip.
Curtis Stonewalls Stella
Elsewhere, Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) is being stonewalled by her nephew, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) following her efforts to try and make peace between him and his wife.
Curtis got tired of Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) lies, even though he has been trying to protect her from Drew’s blackmail.
It seems that Stella’s advice and possibly pleas are falling on Curtis’ deaf ears, as now he’s upset that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) withdrew from being a shoulder.
Stella seems to be fed up with whatever Curtis is stonewalling about, because she tells him, “Then, I’ve got a beef with you”!
In the meantime, Tracy has a request for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) who may have stepped into Michael and Tracy’s conversation.
Jason looks somber although Tracy remains upbeat, perhaps she wants him to protect Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)?
Jason’s already been drafted by Michael in the Sasha and Daisy situation, so he may be a little booked up-and besides, he knows Sonny won’t hurt Gio!
Jason is juggling keeping Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) locked up and taking Sasha and Daisy out of Port Charles for their safety.
He’s got this, plus being in the middle of the situation between Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and his parents, and keeping track of Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn)!
Collateral Damage
In the meantime, back at GH in Portia’s office, her laptop seems to be collateral damage as she has a meltdown, smashes it and screams!
Drew had leveraged Curtis to publish the hit piece implicating Sonny for Natalia Ramirez’ (Eva LaRue) death with threatening to expose Portia’s altering Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) medical records.
Has Portia seen something amiss with her laptop, perhaps files tampered with or deleted, or something else? Perhaps something else she’s done in the past has been exposed that could lose her her job?
