‘GH’ Spoilers Wednesday, July 23: Unbelievable News , Concerning Behavior, Hostage Rescue?
General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, July 23 tease unbelievable news, concerning behavior, and a hostage rescue.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) hears unbelievable news, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) displays concerning behavior, and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) attempts a hostage rescue.
Unbelievable News
At the Metro Court pool, Carly hears unbelievable news from Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton) freshly returned from Paris-Carly can barely believe her ears.
She shocked at Jason’s report as she asks “Thought you saw Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud)-where?
Carly isn’t likely to assume Jason’s lost his mind or having hallucinations-after all, how many in Port Charles have “returned from the dead” including him?
She will probably assume either Britt’s death was faked, possibly hidden somewhere by her mother Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), possibly finding a cure for Huntington’s Disease.
Of course, there seems to be a rash of secret twins in Port Charles too, so she may bring up that option.
Nina Has Urgent Information For Drew
Elsewhere, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has urgen
t information for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and he’s probably the last one she should tell. He’ll be sure to take advantage of the information that someone was targeting Daisy Gilmore (Evelyn and Brenden Beimford).
She tells him that’s why Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) fled Port Charles with her and Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) baby.
Nina is likely worrying deep down that the culprit could be Willow, having witnessed her desperation after
Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity Mork Macko) were taken from her. Drew won’t think it’s Willow, he’ll turn it around to theorize it’s one of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) enemies, most likely!
Concerning Behavior
In the meantime, at GH, Willow responds to the allegations just put forth to her by Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), with “Michael didn’t fight fair, why should I?!”
Portia had told her Drew was blackmailing her into falsifying Michael’s medical files to show he is addicted to opioids, therefore ensuring he’ll lose custody of the kids.
It seems Willow doesn’t care if Drew is playing dirty, she’ll play dirty too, because she thinks Michael is playing dirty about the child custody issues.
Portia will likely have difficulty believing what she is hearing from the once caring nurse who risked her own life to give birth to Amelia.
It seems her efforts to unmask Drew’s true nature after throwing her wedding invitation in the trash went in one of Willow’s ears and right back out the other!
ADA Turner Questions Sidwell
At the PCPD, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) has questions for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) about Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) disappearance believed to be a kidnapping.
She asks Sidwell if he believes his son could be in danger-considering Marco still has not been released.
Sidwell and Sonny had just come to an agreement so Marco could be freed from his hostage situation.
Turner is hot to take down Sonny and put him in prison, so she hopes she can use this situation to do so. But will Sidwell throw Sonny under the bus before Marco is released-that’s highly doubtful!
Uncomfortable Conversations
It looks like Sonny may still be at the PCPD as Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) approaches.
Dante may be asking why his father is there, and he tells him this is definitely a conversation they don’t want to have!
Dante’s always had to walk a fine line between son and cop and not get overly involved in cases involving his mobster father.
Dante could always run into a conflict of interest were he to be involved in police matters involving his father. The cases could even be thrown out of court, so Sonny tells him to stay clear!
Hostage Rescue?
In the meantime, Lucas attempts a hostage rescue with the key and armed with the address where he believes Marco is being held.
Someone dropped off a small packet at the hospital for him containing the key, and the address with it.
Lucas is now frantic over Marco’s having gone missing, and he shouts and knocks loudly, “Marco, are you in there?” It’s only been twenty four hours, but he made the accusation anyway at the PCPD where Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) took the report.
Will Marco still be in there, tied to a chair, or will he be gone-Sonny’s a man of his word, so Marco is probably there.
