General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that before there was Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), there was Jason Quartermaine (Steve Burton).

However, thanks to his brother AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan), Steve had a traumatic brain injury that left him not quite himself. This is when Jason began working for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Jason was smart, easy going, and was going to be a doctor like his parents. Jason never drank like AJ, he never acted like AJ.

Jason was a good American kid that wanted to make his parents proud. Jason was close to both of his parents and wanted to be like them, at least until he wasn’t.

Jason’s parents could not get his TBI changes. Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Alan) tried to make Jason change. He felt that Jason could control his emotions and get his career back on track.

Alan tried to force Jason to do things his way and thought therapy would help. However, that came back to bite him.

GH Spoilers – Jason Morgan’s Mother And Grandmother Loved Him

Jason’s mother, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charlson) and Lily Quartermaine (Anna Lee) loved Jason no matter what.

However, Jason connected with Lily much more than he did Monica after the accident. Monica wanted Jason to be the son she had raised and Jason didn’t know how to be.

Lily accepted Jason has he was. Lily would sit and listen to Jason and try to see his point of view. No one else in the family saw Jason this way.

However, Jason’s connection to Lily never wavered. Jason would visit Lily whenever possible and even took her maiden name has his last name.

General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan’s Life Has Turned Upside Down

Jason Morgan disappeared the night his son Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) came home. Jason was gone for five years before he got to see his son again.

However, Jason didn’t get much time with Danny until he was presumed dead again. Now Jason is back to take care of Danny and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) is dead.

Jason needs to make a huge change because he is all that Danny has. Will Jason become more like that Quartermaine’s and give Danny the attention he deserves.

Will Jason walk away from the mob and be the father his son needs? Will Jason keep his promise to Sam and put Danny first in his life now that she is gone?
