‘GH’ Star Johnny Wactor Murder: Charges Expanded to Include Gang Activity
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Johnny Wactor’s (Brando Corbin) alleged killers have been hit with new charges in the murder case. According to court records obtained from by The US Sun, 18-year-olds Robert Barceleau, the alleged gunman, and Sergio Estrada’s charges have been amended to include an additional gang enhancement charge on top of murder charges.
General Hospital Spoilers – Additional Charges Have Been Added
General Hospital spoilers indicate that according to documents filed by the LA District Attorney’s office, Wactor’s murder “was committed for the benefit of, at the direction of, and in association with a criminal street gang with the specific intent to promote, further and assist in criminal conduct by gang members.” This allows officials to add the gang related offense charges.
Barceleau could get life in prison as the alleged gunman. Frank Olano, 22, who is charged with one count of accessory to murder after the fact, was also charged with an enhanced gun charge as well. Olano has been charged with owning a firearm after being convicted of a felony.
GH Spoilers – Defendants Have Pled Not Guilty
Three of the four defendants have already pled not guilty. Leonel Gutierrez, a fourth defendant, previously pleaded guilty to attempted robbery and one count of grand theft.
This is a win for Wactor’s family. Originally, gang related charges were not included and the family wanted that.
In August, Wactor’s mother said while speaking to ABC 7 LA, saying, “I wish and don’t understand why he wouldn’t do gang enhancements. “They are all clearly gang members of the same gang that will still be asked, and I am still hoping for a lot of stackable things on top of this.”
