Monday’s episode of General Hospital featured Ric unconscious and a comatose Maxie getting transferred to a Boston long-term care facility. It was still unclear what happened to Joss and Vaughn. The Tuesday, August 26 episode of GH gave us a few answers, plus additional questions.
Ric’s Fate
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) came home to find Ric (Rick Hearst) unconscious on her floor and Ava (Maura West) and Kristina (Kate Mansi) standing over him. After they told her how they had found themselves in this precarious situation, they knew they had to do something. They checked, and Ric was thankfully alive. But they knew he would be a problem, so they stowed him away for safekeeping. And to ensure he didn’t make trouble for them anytime soon. He’s tied up to a gurney and gagged. His car is hidden away in Alexis’s shed, where there are, apparently, a ton of bats.
Did they get some help moving Ric? In the video preview for Wednesday’s episode, Alexis is talking to Sonny. Did they bring him into this?
Who’s Behind Maxie’s Coma?
Sidwell, as suspected, is behind Maxie’s heart attack and subsequent coma. He’s trying to gain controlling interest in Deception, and he can’t have Maxie (Kirsten Storms) talking to the cops. Of course, he isn’t the sole big bad. He’s working with someone else, and once again, they are not naming names. But he’s in on it, along with Colette (Mercedes Lopez Renard), and Pascal (Marc Forget).
Whoever this “associate” of Sidwell’s is, they supplied him with the compound that took Maxie down. Did Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) create this compound in the lab, not knowing what the big boss was going to do with it?
The Croatia Crew
Pascal has been holding Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) and Joss (Eden McCoy) hostage. When Pascal reunited the agents, he had his thugs rough up the WSB handler in hopes of securing intel. In addition to wanting to know what they had told Brennan (Chris McKenna so far, he really needed to know what was in the black box in the station chief’s office. The box had details of the current mission. Colette had tried to get into it, but she needed the code.
Ultimately, Joss gave them what they wanted. The WSB agents then proceeded to fight about it while Pascal watched them on the hidden cameras that were set up in the room. But Vaughn and Joss had to be aware they were being watched, right? This fight could be a trick, and maybe Joss gave them a bogus code.
