At Brooke’s house, she flashes sadly to Ridge choosing Taylor. Teary, Brooke sits on the sofa. Suddenly, Hope enters and slams the door. She cries, “How could you do this to me? My own mother!”
Brooke narrows her eyes, “How could I do this to you?!” She tells Hope she never should have done what she did. “I lost the love of my life because of it.” Hope fumes that all she ever tried to do was stand up for what was right and defend their family name. Brooke gawps, “I never wanted you to take over the company!” Hope says they were successful and they made her CEO because she thought she was on board with it. Brooke bellows, “I did it for Ridge! I took the CEO position to get the company back for Ridge!”
Katie Updates Donna
At Forrester, Katie updates Donna that Steffy tore into Hope, fired her and canceled her line. Donna asks, “But Carter’s staying on?!” Katie says, “And Brooke.” She can only imagine how that will go. There’s no telling what this will do to their relationship. Donna believes they’ll work it out because Logan women stick together. Katie muses that their mother’s birthday is coming up. She’s been gone for so long but sometimes it still hits her. She tears up. Donna marvels that the single mother kept them together. Katie says she was so strong… and taught them to be strong too. Brooke and Hope will need that now more than ever.
Taylor and Steffy Celebrate
At the cliff house, Steffy’s overjoyed when Taylor updates her that Ridge affirmed their commitment to one another. With the Forresters also getting the company back everything has turned out how it was supposed to. The women happily embrace. Steffy recaps that her father chose her mother over Brooke and finally sees what’s in front of him. Taylor says her heart is not only mended, it’s stronger than ever. “It’s full of love.”

Heading into the kitchen, Taylor and Steffy make root beer floats and return to the living room. Steffy says justice has been served, nothing Hope got hers when Carter didn’t leave for her. She hopes it’s the end of their relationship. “And more importantly, the end of Dad and Brooke.” They toast to Taylor and Ridge being back together again… forever.
Taylor tells Steffy how much she reminds her of Stephanie. “I’m so proud of you. Your grandmother would be too.” Steffy admits she imagines what she’d say to her when she doesn’t know what to do. She’s determined to live up to her legacy. She warned her to be wary of the Logans and she paid attention. But it’s finally over. The battle is won. Taylor remarks that it’s been such a struggle over the years, but now she and Ridge are together and solid. She’s so happy and in love. “I promise I won’t start singing.” Steffy laughs.
Taylor and Steffy dance and laugh before falling back on the sofa. Steffy talks about how she dances and it heals her. Taylor tells her how lucky her children are to have her for a mother. Steffy says she learned from the best. They express their love and Steffy tells Taylor she deserves all the happiness in the world. They hug and when a new song comes on they get up and dance it out.
Hope and Brooke Have It Out
In Brooke’s living room, Hope can’t believe that her mother took the CEO position for Ridge and was never on her side. She rails about the names they called her, and her mother choosing the Forrester over her. Brooke just wanted to get the company back for Ridge. Hope accuses her of selling out her own daughter and yells, “You cannot defend that to me!” Brooke squints, “You can’t defend what you did either. Ridge left me because of it, Hope! I lost him!” Hope mocks Brooke. “That’s the only thing that matters to you, isn’t it? Ridge.” Not that her daughter lost her career, her love, and her family. The changes they’d implemented were working, but none of that matters because she lost her Ridge. Why is she never there when she needs her most?! She cries, “For once, I just wanted you to pick me.”
Brooke insists she’s been supporting Hope; she’s her daughter and she loves her. Hope screams, “Just not as much as you love Ridge. That’s it!” She rants about Brooke continuing to demean herself over that man. “So where is he?” Oh, that’s right… he’s with Taylor. “How many times are you going to allow that man make a fool of you?!” Katie appears and warns, “Don’t you dare talk to your mother like that!” Slamming the door, she tells Hope she won’t let her berate her sister, who did what she thought was right. Hope realizes Katie knew why she accepted the CEO position. “My own family made a fool of me. Well, I really have lost everything, haven’t I? Even my own mother.”
Hope despairs that there’s no one she can trust. Katie reminds her they’re Logan women. Hope doesn’t want to hear about that; she’s not really a Logan anyway. She only has that last name because her mother was too ashamed to give her her father’s name. “Isn’t that right, mom? Your little mistake?” Katie warns her to stop before she says something she’ll regret and can’t take back. Her mother has always been there for her. Hope says she wasn’t there for her today… she was standing beside her supposed love and champion, Carter, while Steffy humiliated her again. She didn’t walk out with her in solidarity. She would rather watch Steffy win because she wants to try and get back with Ridge. “You abandoned me when I needed you the most,” Hope growls. She wonders if Brooke begged, cried, and groveled at Ridge’s feet this time. “I hope it was worth it!”
Brooke tells Hope she’ll never understand what she and Ridge have. Hope sneers, “Had. He doesn’t want you anymore. When are you going to get that?” Hope says her mother would rather betray her own daughter for a man that drops her at the slightest inconvenience. “How is that love?!” Katie tells her niece to stop. Brooke says she told him she loves him and wants him back. He wouldn’t listen to her, and said he wanted to stay with Taylor. “And you know what? Steffy could have done things differently. She was wrong. But you were wrong too, Hope. You never should have taken over the company with Carter. And until you take responsibility for your actions, I have no sympathy for you whatsoever!” She won’t be spoken to this way. Hope won’t attack her in her house. “Do you understand that? Not in my home!” Hope asks, “What are you saying, Mom? Are you kicking me out?”
Hope states, “I’m no longer welcome in your home. Is that what you’re saying?” Katie’s sure that’s not what she means. Hope says it’s exactly what she means. She’ll probably run and tell Ridge she got rid of her to try and get him back. Brooke reminds her she told Ridge to leave because of her before. Hope counters that he called her a whore and a bitch, and she took his side. Katie tries again to intervene. “Stop. This is going to end!” Hope asks when this cycle will ever end. “Of her constantly choosing the Forresters and their disrespect over her own family’s love.” Katie knows she had a bad day, “But you did something wrong, and you have to own it! Carter sees it!”

Hope screams that she doesn’t want to hear about Carter. “I sacrificed everything for his vision, and I took the fall for him!” Brooke says Carter couldn’t even live with himself. How can she not see that? Hope says he turned his back on her, just like her mother. Brooke warned her she was making a serious mistake and there would be repercussions. She won’t allow her to blame her for her mistakes. “This was your choice, and you messed up. Just like you’ve messed up so many times in your life. Your marriage to Liam. Your relationship with Thomas, with Douglas. And now this, are you serious, Hope?! This coup with Carter?!” Brooke, red in the face, bellows, “You say you lost everything in your life, well I lost something too. I lost Ridge, and it’s all because of you! I blame you! Who are you? You are not my daughter! Get out! Get out of my house!”
Hope hauls off to slap her mother, but Katie runs interference and stops her. “No, don’t! Don’t Hope, don’t.”
