Mike Wolfe Gets Emotional About ‘Second Chance’ After Near-Fatal Crash with Mike Wolfe’s Girlfriend
“We Almost Didn’t Make It”: Mike Wolfe Calls Near-Fatal Crash a Wake-Up Call After Surviving With Girlfriend
Mike Wolfe isn’t calling it luck. He’s calling it a second chance.

Mike Wolfe is thankful for a “second chance” after he and his girlfriend, Leticia Cline, survived a near-fatal car accident on Friday, September 12, that left them both hospitalized with serious injuries.
The American Pickers star took to Instagram on Thursday (September 25), where he shared a black-and-white photo of himself and Cline taken just hours before the pair were involved in a car accident in Columbia, Tennessee.

Mike Wolfe is opening up about the emotional aftermath of the near-fatal crash that sent him and girlfriend Leticia Cline to the hospital — and the moment he realized just how close they came to losing it all.
The American Pickers star shared that he recently returned to see the vehicle involved in the September 12 collision in Columbia, Tennessee. The experience, he said, was far more intense than he expected.
“When your life is that close to being cut short, everything resets,” Wolfe admitted.
Just hours before the crash, Wolfe and Cline were smiling for photos, unaware they were about to face the most dangerous moment of their lives. Moments later, Cline was being airlifted to the hospital, while Wolfe followed by ambulance, barely conscious.
Cline’s injuries were extensive: a shattered jaw, fractured ribs and sternum, and a collapsed lung. While both have since been released, Cline is preparing for additional surgeries, including having her jaw wired shut.

Despite the trauma, both Wolfe and Cline have focused on gratitude rather than fear. Cline shared that losing her father in a childhood accident shaped her outlook — and made surviving this crash even more meaningful.
Wolfe responded publicly with a message praising Cline’s strength, calling her recovery the hardest challenge he has ever witnessed her face.
The couple, who have balanced a long-distance relationship since 2021, say the crash has permanently changed how they see time, family, and each other.
For Wolfe, one photo now symbolizes it all — not a memory of the crash, but proof that they lived to see another day.
