General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that now is a perfect time for Jasper Jacks (last played by Ingo Rademacher) to return to PC. His daughter is a WSB recruit, and his ex baby mamma is involved with the WSB boss. Surely he wouldn’t approve of this kettle of fish?!

There is one actor supremely suited to play a recast Jax—Roger Howarth, a man who has had almost nine lives on GH. Hear us out on why Howarth is the best fit for a Jax recast!

Jasper Jacks Recast

Howarth joined the ABC soap in 2012 as his One Life to Live character, Todd Manning. Next he played not one, but two other characters. Clearly Howarth has mad skills and the ability to disappear into any character demanded of him.

His second character was Franco Baldwin and then Austin Gatlin-Holt. Both of these characters met a gruesome end, and we think there has been enough time for the audience to say goodbye to them and move on to Howarth in another GH role.

Jax Was Played by Ingo Rademacher

Ingo Rademacher played Aussie bad boy charmer Jax from 1996-2013 and was rehired in 2019. He parted ways with the show after declining to be mandatorily vaccinated against Covid-19, which was ABC policy during the height of the pandemic.

Jax and Howarth are both fan faves which makes perfect sense for a recast now. Jax’s family is in a front burner story with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) involved with Jack Brennen who has secretly hired their daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to be an undercover agent.

Jax and Carly Ride Again?

Jarly married in 2007 and divorced in 2013. In between, before, and afterward, there continued to be drama and sparks between them.

Even if Jarly doesn’t happen, there are plenty more ladies who would be perfect for Jax. Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) would give Jax a run for his money, as we now know she’s been keeping major secrets. But if Carly were to be attracted to Jax, this would make for some dynamite story between jealous Jack and Jacks.
