At the Club bar, Sally and Billy flirt and decide to go upstairs together. In Sally’s suite, they start kissing. Billy gets her up against the door and unzips her dress. They continue kissing passionately and undressing and eventually fall onto the bed with him on top of her.
After having sex, Sally tells Billy she’s processing. He grins, “As long as you’re smiling.” They engage in some pillow talk, and she asks if he’s surprised by all of this. Billy’s surprised it happened now, but he’s not sorry. She says, “Good.” Sally has no regrets either. She feels lighter, like she was in a cell and the door was opened the whole time, she just had to walk through. Billy teases that he’s a prison break. Sally feels free. He’s happy to hear that. She admits she was hoping they’d end up there. “What about you?” Billy says, “Hell yes. I thought about it.” Now, he’s wondering what took them so long to get there. Sally thinks it’s obvious. If they’d done this sooner, it would have looked like revenge sex. Billy says this had nothing to do with payback, “Right?”

At the new ranch house, Adam tells his father it’s stunning. Victor ruminates about how upset Nikki was when Sharon burned down the first one. Adam thinks his father called him over to discuss moving into the other house. Victor says it isn’t and they’re waiting for his brother. Nick arrives and Victor wants to know why Sharon is out on bail after all she’s done. He questions her being back on their property. Nick says she’s back at home with Faith where she belongs and is already feeling steadier. Victor doesn’t give a damn how she feels. “After all that she’s done, she’s back among us?! Are you serious?”
Nick wonders if he’s seriously asking him if Sharon’s a threat. Adam tries to leave, but Victor wants him there. Adam asks Nick to answer so they can move this along. Nick insists Sharon’s not a threat to anyone on the ranch. Victor says she murdered Heather and was more than likely involved in Phyllis’ accident. Adam asks Nick if that’s true. Nick complains about his father dealing in hypotheticals. Victor hollers that they know what Sharon is all about; she burned this place to the ground! Nick says Sharon turned herself in and is not looking to cause any more trouble. Victor asks Adam if he thinks Sharon is a threat.

Nick scoffs at Victor wanting Adam’s expert opinion on Sharon. Victor says he had a connection to her that Nick never had. Nick argues that he merely manipulated her. Adam says she had darkness in her that Nick never wanted to see, that’s why she accepted him, and he loved her. She has a huge heart, but it’s led her to some really dark places. Nick suggests he stop talking about her right now, and stop projecting. “You keep that garbage to yourself.”
Adam didn’t want to be part of the conversation, so Nick can back off. Victor says Sharon confessed as Nick argues if she did this it’s a result of her medications. Adam asks what kind of medication makes someone homicidal. Nick insists there are other things at play. She’s been having blackouts where she doesn’t remember where she’s been or what she’s done. Victor thinks this sounds convenient. Nick says she’s not dangerous or vengeful. Adam thinks Nick has seen it, but he doesn’t want to. “She hid it from you because you wouldn’t understand.” There’s a reason she came to him after the ranch fire. The only question is, “What is going to happen to Sharon now?”

In the hospital, Phyllis looks at her family as they all thank God. Daniel rushes to get the doctor and Phyllis tells Summer, “I don’t remember.” She says there was a car accident. Lucy asks, “You don’t remember at all?” She asks if she knows who they are. Phyllis gets a pained expression, but says, “Lucy, Summer.” Summer asks if she remembers the accident. Phyllis becomes agitated as she says she was going in a car. Summer tells her she hit her head and was unconscious for a while. She’s so happy she’s awake. Elena comes in with Daniel and asks the family to clear the room. Phyllis protests, but Elena insists.
Outside the hospital room, Daniel assures Lucy that the doctors there are great. Lucy is rattled by Phyllis looking scared. Her father reminds her she’s a fierce as they come. She’ll be fine. Elena joins them and says the confusion is normal. Phyllis will be just fine. She cautions them to be careful with what information they share with her as it may come as a shock. Daniel, Summer, and Lucy rejoin Phyllis, who is glad her granddaughter is back. She muses, “There was fire, wasn’t there?” She remembers Nick being there… vaguely. “There were lights. High beams.” She groans as she tries to sit up. They all fret. Phyllis remembers she was in the car and was texting. Summer says it’s OK. Phyllis asks why they’re so worried. “What happened?”

Summer tells Phyllis that Daniel is no longer a suspect. He says it’s true; he’s cleared. Phyllis is relieved. Daniel tells her she was right, it was Sharon all along. Phyllis says she knew it. Daniel says she confessed. Summer says she even admitted to framing Daniel. Phyllis cries, “You’re free.” This never should have happened. Daniel doesn’t want her to get worked up, she just wanted him to know she doesn’t have to work to clear him anymore. Suddenly, Chance appears. Phyllis invites him in and asks if he wants a big dose of “I told you so.” She knows he was at the crash site and owes him a thank you. Chance wants to ask her some questions about the events leading up to the accident.
Summer asks if this can wait. Daniel suggests they let Phyllis answer herself. Summer tells her mother she doesn’t have to do this right now. Phyllis says she’s fine. Chance asks them to step out. Summer still thinks it’s a bad idea. Chance says he asked Elena. Summer snarks, “You have all the answers, don’t you?” The family files out, with Summer assuring her mom she’ll be right outside. Phyllis asks Chance what the sentence will be for someone who commits pre-meditated murder, dumps the body in the river, and frames an innocent man. “Life in prison? I certainly hope so.”

Chance says they aren’t there yet. She’s out on bail and is consulting with an attorney. Phyllis asks who the hell would want to take that case. Her jaw drops when he replies, “Michael Baldwin.” She asks, “What? My Michael Baldwin?” Chance nods. Phyllis becomes agitated. Chance doesn’t know what he has planned. Phyllis knew Sharon did this and no one would believe her. “Especially you. Instead, you arrested my son!” Chance says if there was evidence pointing to Sharon he would have followed it. Phyllis yells, “There was evidence all over the place!” Chance asks her to calm down. Phyllis says Sharon framed her son for a murder she committed. She groans that her head hurts. “Let’s talk about how I was run off the road by somebody. Sharon did that too, didn’t she? Sharon tried to kill me too!”
At the ranch, Victor expects Nick to keep him informed. Nick agrees. Victor has other business and announces that he’s taken control of Chancellor. Nikki will take the reins tomorrow morning. Adam says Billy’s pissed off and looking for a fight. Nick asks his dad how he pulled it off. Victor says he met with Jill and made her an offer she happily accepted. He declares that Nikki will turn that company into a great success, and Adam will spread the news. Adam’s happy to announce Billy’s soul-crushing loss with be the Newman family’s gain. Victor says anyone who comes after them is going to pay.
In Sally’s suite, she admits maybe part of her wanted to settle the score, but she wanted to prove to herself that she could move on too. Billy agrees. Deep, deep down in the corner of his subconscious there’s a part of him that knows this would make Adam’s head explode, but consciously, no. “This was all about you.” Sally’s flattered. He tells her, “You’re pretty spectacular, Sally Spectra.” Sally is glad the moment happened. Billy says, “And what a moment it was.” They kiss.
In Phyllis’ hospital room, she asks if Sharon confessed to putting her in the ICU. Chance says she has no recollection of the accident. Phyllis asks what she’s saying… that she blacked out? She complains that Chance didn’t arrest her when she caught her in her room. If he had done so, she wouldn’t be there right now. “Do you feel responsible at all?!” Chance ignores this and asks what she remembers about the accident. It appears as though someone swerved into her lane and forced her off the road. Phyllis doesn’t know. It’s a blur. “There were lights and high beams.” Thinking, she says she will remember, and when she does, and if it was Sharon, she swears she’ll nail that bitch’s ass to the wall herself.
In the waiting area, Summer calls Nick to tell him her mom is awake. “She’s OK because of you.” Nick says he’s on his way.
