On today’s General Hospital Michael checks his phone just before Drew walks in, ignoring a call from Curtis on his own phone. Drew doesn’t answer, but thanks Michael for meeting to discuss “urgent” matters. He wants to know if Michael can shed some light on why Jason attacked him, and Michael curtly admits he told Jason about Willow and Drew’s kiss. But he didn’t know Jason would attack him.
Drew wants them to get past this by having a truthful conversation about Willow neither of them want. He’s so sorry about what happened. No excuses for what he did, but he hopes Michael can forgive him to move past. “Why would I want that?” Drew says it was an unintentional kiss just one time, but Michael just glares at him. “You sure about that?”
Drew begs to be allowed to make up for the damage he caused. How does he plan on doing that? Drew says part of building up trust is giving Michael the CEO position — but is that the only reason to get back in his good graces. No, Drew says, that’s just part of it. Michael knows the job inside and out. Curtis is great for interim, but Michael is the future.
Drew says the next step is to thank Curtis and assure him he’s valued, but not experienced enough, then they clear it with the board and move on. Bottom line, he never promised Curtis anything. Michael comes first. “I was never going to choose Curtis over you.” We then see Micahel’s phone, recording the whole convo.
At the gym, Curtis gets off from trying to contact Drew and flashes back to Michael telling him Drew’s going to get rid of him as the CEO as soon as he’s in DC. Jordan gets there noting how out of breath he is and Curtis admits he’s working out his frustrations. He tells her he has reason to believe someone he trusts is keeping a secret. Drew.

He didn’t believe it at first, but now Drew’s being evasive and avoiding him. Curtis tells her she can’t tell anyone, but Michael told him that Drew would double cross him and put Michael in the CEO position. Jordan thinks Drew’s just busy and it’s not a matter of him avoiding Curtis… but Curtis isn’t sure.
Lulu’s shamming her coma while a nurse checks her monitors, then sits up to massage her legs the second she’s gone. She tries walking again, having more success at staying upright this time. She makes her way unsteadily to the couch, then hears Cyrus telling the doc he’s found a better long term facility in South Carolina. Lulu races back to bed to lay back down in her “coma.”
Cyrus comes in promising he’s taken care of everything. He’s working to get her out of there as soon as possible. The nurses come back in and Cyrus leaves, as Lulu secretly listens to them talking about getting a slew of new patients tonight and the hospital being a madhouse. They leave and she unplugs herself, making her way to the door, sneaking out down the hallway.

She makes it to the front desk and overhears them talking about transferring her to the new facility, then backs away nervously. She finds a fire alarm behind her and pulls it. When the front desk clears out, she makes a slow run for the exit, grabbing a coat and bag the receptionist left behind.
Shortly after, Cyrus returns, asking to see Lulu. He doesn’t like leaving her alone very long. Outside, Lulu’s changing into pants and hoodie to hide herself. She stumbles off into the night.
Alexis and Sonny get to the courthouse and ask how Kristina’s doing. She’s OK, but she wants it all over so Ava can pay for what she’s done. Molly and TJ show up and Molly tells her sis she’s got it.

Trina and Josslyn enter the courtroom, where Trina smiles at her boss. Joss and Gio take seats on the other side of the room, and everyone starts to file in as Ric and Ava watch. The trial begins and the prosecutor gives her opening statement to the jury about why Ava’s guilty. Kristina flashes back to their fight and falling out the window, squirming uncomfortably.
After Ava glares at her, Ric gets up for his own opening statements, insisting this was all just a tragedy, not a monstrous attack by his client. He doesn’t believe that, by the end of the trial, they’ll find Ava guilty. It’s because of Kristina’s anger and attack that she lost her own baby. Ric pins it all on Kristina.
First up is Natalia, telling what she saw as Kristina fell, followed by Gio. Josslyn comes next, describing Kristina’s state when she found her in the pool. Then we’re back to Natalia, talking about Kristina cut up, bleeding and still. Joss talks about going to the ambulance with Kristina. Then Trina talks about what she did and looking up to see Ava standing in the window — after some prompting from the prosecutor.
Ric then gets up to point out that Trina saw Ava, but didn’t see who or what caused the fall. Then the OBGYN who worked on Kristina gets on the stand, saying the baby would have been born healthy. Another doctor explains how the fall caused the miscarriage, and they couldn’t save the baby.
Ric gets back up to ask if the doctor found any defensive wounds, and he says no. There was nothing conclusive. The judge calls a recess and Ava tells her lawyer they’re getting destroyed up there.
A short break later, Alexis and Sonny tell their daughter she’s been doing great. Then court resumes and Kristina’s called up to testify. She’s asked about becoming Molly and TJ’s surrogate and talks about getting pregnant for Molly and how healthy the baby was through the entire pregnancy. Molly and TJ listen sadly as she talks about her connection to the baby. “It was the happiest I’ve ever been in my life.”
Ric objects and they move on. Next up is how Kristina knows Ava and what happened the day of the fall. “I am ready to talk about what Ava did to me.” She explains the subpoena, the argument, pleading with Ava until she yelled at Kristina, grabbed her arm and pushed her through the window.

In the show’s final moments, Michael tells Drew they have a deal. They shake, to Drew’s relief, and Michael says he’s optimistic about Aurora’s future. Drew leaves and Michael grabs his phone, calls Curtis and plays the audio for him of Drew saying Curtis is going back to wellness and that he’d never choose him over Michael. “Do you believe me now?” Michael says they can change it, so long as Curtis is in.
Lulu waves down a car on the side of the road, yelling for help.
Kristina gets into what she remembers of the fall itself, things going black in the fall, then coming to in the ambulance. Then passing back out and waking up confused and in pain and learning she’d lost the baby. Ava just glares at her the whole time, as Kristina gets into knowing that it was because Ava had killed her daughter.
