Shockingly, Li’s Tough Love Approach Doesn’t Work on B&B’s August 15 Key Moments

She wants someone to love her and allow her to do whatever she pleases. But Sheila’s approach isn’t helping either. She’s encouraging Luna to go back to her old ways. Boot Camp
Li (Naomi Matsuda) is a tough mom. She doesn’t take bull from her kids… or grandkids. Luna (Lisa Yamada) thought she could manipulate Li, especially since she nursed her back to life. Also, instead of expressing her gratitude for being given a new lease on life, she’s back to her old ways. Luna thinks she can get Will (Crew Morrow) back, even though he wants nothing to do with her.
When Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) left to grab lunch, Luna asked Li if she thought she was pretty. Li wanted to know what she had this thought in her head. Then, she realized that Luna had boys on the brain, especially Will. Li told Luna this isn’t the time to worry about boys, in which case, she’s right. Luna needs to focus on her recovery and becoming a better person.
Li will make sure of that. She threatened to put Luna through a boot camp. She doesn’t want her to become a man-obsessed woman like her mother, Poppy (Romy Park), is. Li wants Luna to be reformed. But will her tough love approach work?
Stirring The Pot
Meanwhile, Sheila overheard Will and another intern’s conversation at Il Giardino. They spoke with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie (Heather Thomas), who gave them a promotion. They’re officially employees of Forrester Creations. Katie is throwing a party for Will’s big moment at Il Giardino. Deacon (Sean Kanan) assured them that he would put out all the stops and make it a party to remember.
After they left, Sheila wanted the 411 on this special occasion, and Deacon provided her with the details. She returned to the apartment with this intel for Luna, who’s going to find her way into the party, even if she didn’t get an invite. While Li is laying down the law, Sheila is enabling her granddaughter. Sheila shouldn’t act surprised if something bad happens, which it will. This is Luna, after all.
