At Bill’s place, Liam lies unconscious on the floor, while at Forrester, Steffy and Ridge discuss his volatile relationship with his father. She states that her ex will always be an important person in her life. Ridge can’t understand why Liam has a relationship with Bill, father or not. Steffy complains that his toxic dad let a psychopath out of prison. She announces she’s going to talk to Bill… she needs to stand up for Liam.
Steffy Finds Liam
At Bill’s place, Liam comes to and struggles to get up off the floor. He leans on a chair as he stands unsteadily. Rubbing the back of his head, he realizes he’s bleeding. He lurches toward the door and manages to get outside… where he collapses again and hits his head on the doorstep.
At the cliff house, Finn hollers at Kelly to get ready as her father will be there in about an hour. He picks up his phone and texts a reminder to Steffy that Liam is coming by to hang out with his daughter. Finn wonders why Steffy isn’t texting him back as Kelly emerges from the other room. She can’t wait to see her dad. They’re going to the climbing gym. “Getting to spend time with Mommy and Daddy is my favorite.” Finn knows that. He tells her they love her and nothing will ever change that.
At Bill’s place, Steffy discovers Liam unconscious and screams, “Liam? Oh my God!” She frantically calls 9-1-1 and begs them to hurry. She’s told not to move him until the paramedics arrive.

At Forrester, Ridge is packing a box in the office when Brooke comes in. She tells him she and Carter are grateful to still be working there. Ridge notes he finally did the right thing… and there’s always a place for her there. Brooke’s chuffed that he calls her “Logan”, but she wants him to welcome her daughter back to Forrester as well. Ridge protests that she tried to steal his life’s work. Brooke says she’s devastated and feels everyone’s betrayed her, “Including me.” She asks if he has any compassion for her daughter, “Any mercy at all?”
Ridge understands Brooke loves her daughter, he does too. Brooke says what Steffy’s doing isn’t right; she’s making it personal. Ridge says it is personal… she tried to take her company away; it’s her birthright. Brooke protests that he should make the same deal with Hope as he did with Carter. He tells her Hope doesn’t think she did anything wrong. Brooke hates what this has done… especially to the two of them. “I miss you so much. Don’t you miss me?”
At Il Giardino, Deacon tells Hope she should stay there. He’s got her back… always. Deacon knows she has issues with Sheila, but he’ll take care of everything and get her, and Beth all set up. Hope thanks him. He says what Steffy, Ridge, and Carter did wasn’t fair. Deacon wanders off and Hope pulls out her phone. She reads a text from Brooke asking her to come home. Deacon reappears, and complains about Carter not putting her first. He’s not surprised the guy stayed at Forrester; he’s been trying to get their approval for years. Hope feels they manipulated him. She thought Carter loved her and believed him when he said he’d champion her. “And don’t even get me started on Mom.”

Deacon asks why Brooke’s still at Forrester after how they treated her. Hope says, “Ridge.” She chose all the Forresters over her own daughter. Deacon’s sorry. Hope says she wants her to come home, but she doesn’t understand that home doesn’t feel like it used to anymore. Hope is glad she has Deacon to turn to… she feels she’s lost everything. Deacon urges her to give herself a break. She’s been through so much… with Carter, Thomas, and Liam. “Show yourself some grace.” She deserves it more than anyone he knows. Hope admits she’s been thinking of Liam lately. They really did share some beautiful times together, and he’s an amazing father to Beth and Kelly. The one constant in her life has always been Liam, who truly is an amazing man.

The Unthinkable Happens as Kelly Waits
At the cliff house, Kelly tells Finn she thought her mom and dad would be there by now. Finn isn’t sure what’s keeping them. Kelly tells Finn the daddy/daughter dance is coming up. Finn says Liam will be thrilled… nothing would keep him from going to that with her. Kelly can’t wait.
At the hospital, Liam is wheeled in with a possible brain bleed. Steffy pleads with Dr. Buckingham to do something. “Please! I can’t lose him!” Steffy follows Grace into the ER, where she’s asking Liam questions. “Do you know where you are? What happened to you? Did somebody to this to you?”
Liam doesn’t respond and Steffy asks why he’s unresponsive. Buckingham believes he’s suffered an intracranial hemorrhage, which is blood pooling between the brain and the skull and prevents oxygen from reaching the brain. It only takes a few minutes for brain cells to die without enough oxygen. She hollers for a CT scan stat as Steffy tells Liam she’s right there. Suddenly, Liam flatlines. The doctor and nurse fly into action as Steffy yells, “Liam! Liam!!”
