‘Survivor’ Winner Expecting First Baby Ahead of Season 50 Return

The ‘Sole Survivor’ of Season 48 will soon embark on a brand new adventure as he and his wife welcome their first child later this year.

Just months after becoming a freshly-minted millionaire following his “Survivor 48” victory, castaway Kyle Fraser has now revealed that he’ll soon add “first-time father” to his resume as he prepares to return to Fiji to compete on Season 50.

The recent champion took to Instagram on Tuesday (Jan. 5) to announce that he and his wife, Maggie, are expecting their first child. The couple revealed the joyous news in a joint post on the social media platform, featuring a carousel of photos showing off a reel of sonogram photos.

“Baby Fraser coming to you in May 2026,” they captioned the photos, which have since been met with love and congratulations from former “Survivor” players and fans alike.

‘Survivor’ Stars React to Fraser & Wife’s Pregnancy Announcement

“YAAAAAAAAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYA,” wrote Fraser’s Season 48 co-star Bianca Roses.

“Move over Sammy and Roo, there’s a new fav child entering the home!!” added Kyle’s fellow finalist Eva Erickson.

Additional praise came from Kyle’s Season 50 castmates, including “Survivor” legend Cirie Fields, who wrote, “Congrats Kyle so happy for you both,” and Rizo Velovic, who added, “LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!”

Kamilla Karthigesu, who was Fraser’s No. 1 ally on Season 48 and who will also be joining him on the history-making cast of Season 50, also commented on the post, writing, “CONGRATS! Prepping for blood vs water 3 I see.”

Fraser Opens Up About Becoming a First-Time Father

Speaking to PEOPLE about the announcement, Fraser said, “With ‘Survivor’ (twice), our marriage, and other things, we have had no shortage of major life events in the last two years. So it would be an understatement to say people have gotten used to us giving them news.”

He added the pregnancy has “made people lose their minds in a good way” since he and Maggie started letting the people closest to them in on their secret in recent weeks.

“We both can’t wait to see the other as a parent and have loved every moment from seeing the baby on the ultrasound to starting to feel kicks,” the couple shared. “Our neighborhood in Brooklyn is very kid-friendly, so every time we step outside, we get to envision what our lives could look like. It’s the perfect type of uncertainty, and we’re ready for it.”

Kyle and Maggie tied the knot in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony in Charlottesville, Virginia in September 2024. The happy couple were joined at their nuptials by several of Fraser’s Season 48 alumni, including former castaways like Cedrek McFadden, Kamilla Karthigesu, Mary Zheng, Eva Erickson and Star Toomey.

Fans can catch Kyle Fraser’s triumphant return to “Survivor” when Season 50 makes its grand three-hour debut on Wednesday, February 25 at 8:00pm ET on CBS.
