The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, December 23, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) complained to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) about all the wasted years since Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) could’ve been in a happy, stable relationship with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig).

Instead, Ridge got together with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), so Steffy ranted about her betraying him by joining Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) team.

Steffy assumed Brooke thought she could seduce her way out of this CEO betrayal.

Since Hope was in Carter’s ear, Steffy also figured her rival was busy trying to change the company name to Logan Creations.

However, Steffy eventually decided that was enough venting and refused to let the Logans ruin the rest of the holiday season.

Since Brooke’s betrayal could bring Ridge and Taylor closer, Steffy couldn’t be mad about that and suggested it could lead to a Christmas miracle.

At Forrester Creations, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) was pensive over Brooke’s secret plan to give power back to Ridge and Steffy, but Hope assumed he was just conflicted about working there after the coup.

Although Hope urged Zende to give the new era of Forrester Creations a chance, he muttered to himself and made a prediction that this new era might not last long.

At the Forrester mansion on Monday’s B&B episode, Ridge and Taylor slowed things down instead of going all the way in bed together.

After Taylor said she never stopped loving Ridge, he poured them some drinks and inadvertently spilled one on her.

While Taylor was drying off in the bathroom, Ridge heard Brooke after she entered the front door.

Once Ridge joined Brooke downstairs, he informed her that he already knew about her taking the CEO position.

Brooke wanted to explain the big news, but Ridge went on a tirade about her betrayal and kept cutting her off.

Although Brooke said this was all for Ridge, he failed to understand how her backstabbing ways could help him.

Ridge was angry for himself, but he was also angry on Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) behalf.

Brooke pushed Ridge to just give her a chance to share her side of the story, but then Taylor came down wearing Ridge’s shirt.

That was enough to bring tears to Brooke’s eyes and send her rushing outside, where she sobbed over what she just saw.

Back in the mansion, Ridge ended up seeking comfort in Taylor’s arms.
