Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) is trapped in the kind of nightmare that she could have never imagined for herself on The Bold and the Beautiful. The doctor has just found out that her adopted son, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), fathered a child with her sister, Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park). For years, Li has vilified Poppy for her drug use and random sexual partners, but she never saw this coming.

Li recently was on a mission to figure out who the biological father of Poppy’s daughter, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada), was. Luna had tricked Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) into believing that he was her father for a hot minute.

Then everyone believed that a washed-up rocker named Tom Starr (Clint Howard) was Luna’s father, and he wasn’t.

Li really feared that her ex-husband, Jack Finnegan (Ted King), had slept with Poppy and fathered Luna, but he hadn’t, so he also isn’t her dad.

All of these negative paternity tests led Finn to take not one, but two DNA tests, and he is Luna’s biological father. After telling Luna the truth, he knew that he had to tell Li as well.

Finn telling his mother that he slept with Poppy at age 18 is probably one of the most difficult conversations of his life. He didn’t want to disappoint her, so he hoped to be able to keep the secret buried forever.

Li was disgusted to learn the truth and believes that despite his age, her sister took advantage of him. It only got worse when she found out that Finn fathered Luna, who is incarcerated for killing two people and kidnapping his wife, Steffy Forrester (Jaqueline Macinnes Wood).

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Will Li Kill Poppy?

A confrontation is imminent. Li immediately texted Poppy, telling her that she needed to see her and Poppy was on the way. The sisters just recently began to take steps to repair their relationship.

Li finally believed that she had been wrong about her sister for years and has been trying to make up for all of the disparaging remarks. Poppy, for her part, was thrilled to finally have Li begin to act like a real sister to her.

That’s all over now. We know from the spoilers that a physical fight is coming and that Li, rightfully enraged, has her hands around Poppy’s throat.
