The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has cast his vote when it comes to who Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) should be with. Victor is convinced that Adam belongs with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), which is something Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) seem to have accepted, too.

Chelsea did join the Thanksgiving celebration at the Newman ranch recently, but that hardly qualifies as real story movement.

If Y&R still plans on putting Adam and Chelsea back together, they’re taking their sweet time about it.

Is Chelsea and Adam’s reunion canceled or just delayed? “Chadam” fans are holding out hope that the show will come through eventually, but Adam’s behavior isn’t doing his love story with Chelsea any favors right now.

Instead of focusing on wooing Chelsea and rebuilding what they once shared, Adam is busy acting jealous of Sally’s romance with Billy and pestering Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) by trying to comfort Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

In other words, Adam still fixated on his other exes at the moment.

That’s frustrating for Chelsea and Adam supporters who’d rather see him give her some attention instead.

To be fair, Chelsea put walls up and pushed Adam to believe there’s no hope for their future as a couple.

Even so, Adam is usually the type to be relentless about what he wants, so maybe he just needs to make some strategy updates.

Instead of obsessing over Sharon’s case and getting in Sally’s face about who she’s moving on with, should Adam be sharing airtime with Chelsea instead?

That’s the only way the show can have the proper buildup for Adam and Chelsea to reunite.

At this point, it’s just a matter of whether the show will ultimately move forward with Chelsea and Adam’s fresh start or scrap it for other romantic options in the new year.
