The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) recently talked about hiring a private eye who came highly recommended by Devon Winters (Bryton James). It turns out that private eye is Denise Tolliver, so Telma Hopkins is returning as the character she first played back in 2021.

Hopkins has a connection to Bryton James since he played her character’s son on Family Matters as a child.

However, Hopkins is also connected to her newest co-star, Valarie Pettiford (Amy Lewis), since they appeared on Half & Half together over 20 years ago.

Pettiford and Hopkins were thrilled over their on-screen reunion, so they gushed about it to SOD.

Although Hopkins and Pettiford couldn’t go into the details of their upcoming scenes, they did promise some good stuff!

“She’s a master artist. You’re gonna see her go from giggly to ugly cry,” Telma Hopkins said about Valarie Pettiford.

“It’s gonna be a surprise. It’s a ride. Just get ready,” Pettiford added as she expressed excitement for the rest of the story surrounding Amy’s missing son, Damian.

Of course, Denise Tolliver will play a huge part in helping Nate find Damian, who’ll have a chance to reunite with Amy and learn she’s dying of leukemia.

Damian will also find out that the man he believes was his father wasn’t his bio dad at all, so that’s sure to come as a shock.

On top of all that, Damian will discover that he has a half-brother he never knew about.

Nate can’t be sure of how Damian will react to any of this, but he knows that Damian is already troubled.

It’s safe to say that all these stunning revelations are going to hit Damian hard and make life even more difficult for him – at least initially.

Nevertheless, Nate is hoping that maybe he can somehow fix the pain of the past.

We have no doubt that Nate and Damian will form a bond in time, but Damian has to open his heart to the idea first.

Our Y&R predictions point to Damian and Nate forming a complicated relationship that’ll evolve over time, so don’t miss what’s in store.
