The Young and the Restless Tuesday, July 15 Update: Phyllis & Cane’s Secret Pact – Damian Murder Case Gets Complicated

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 15, reveals that Damian Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers) murder case will get complicated as Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) most likely make a secret pact.

First on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Phyllis will have a lot to process after witnessing Cane clutching Damian with a knife in his back.

Cane has been mulling over a way for Phyllis to prove her allegiance to him – and it looks like he’s found it!

If Phyllis suspects Cane is the stabbing culprit, he’ll no doubt worry the cops are going to suspect it, too.

Once Cane realizes there’s no hope of saving Damian’s life, he may shift gears and focus on protecting himself with Phyllis’ help.

Phyllis seems poised to enter a secret pact with Cane and trust him to handle this his way.

Cane may rope Carter (Vincent Stalba) into a scheme and try to twist the facts of this case before Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) gets involved.

Of course, there could be a problem if Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) or someone else witnesses Cane scrambling in the aftermath of all this.

The true stabbing culprit is a mystery, but Cane may make some moves that could backfire and make him look guiltier in the end.

When Phyllis encounters Nick after her run-in with Cane, she’ll sense that Nick is on edge and will ask what he saw.

Whether Nick spotted something incriminating or not, he may have a hunch that Phyllis is hiding something shady for her new ally.

Nick will soon have more reasons to fret over Phyllis’ partnership with Cane and the trouble she’s going to land in.

Despite Nick’s desire to form a getaway plan for his family, that’ll have to wait since Chance will investigate this whole Damian situation.

It won’t be long until Chance is ready to call this a murder and interrogate almost everyone as a possible suspect.
