Top 5 Best Players of Survivor 50 Episode 2: Who Is the Fan Favorite?
Survivor 50’s episode 2, “Therapy Carousel,” packed in idols, alliances, tactical theater, and a surprise flip — the kind of episode that reminds you why Survivor has remained must-see TV for decades.

Episode snapshot: There were two full-tribe challenges, a steady stream of interpersonal confrontation (including cross-tribe heat thanks to Coach Wade), and game-changing advantages handed out to alliance members.
In short, the episode delivered many of the classic ingredients that make Survivor compelling: physical feats, social maneuvering, hidden immunity dynamics, and a dramatic reveal. Several players stood out for how they handled those moments. Here are the five best performers from Episode 2, plus one honorable mention.

Honorable Mention: Q Burdette
Q Burdette has assumed a clearer leadership role early in his second run. He’s been a vocal driver of what currently looks like the season’s largest numbers advantage on Vatu. While Colby and Stephenie appear to be the alliance’s closest pair, Q is the loudest engine pushing the group forward. This week he orchestrated bringing Rizo into the fold to replace Kyle — a move that preserves the alliance’s math and adds a seemingly pliable member. Having someone in your numbers who doesn’t appear poised to flip is a valuable asset in Survivor.

5. Colby Donaldson
Colby was pivotal in Vatu’s immunity win. When Rizo and Genevieve struggled to return the first snake to base, Colby and Stephenie made up ground through sheer effort, and Colby’s dominance helped the tribe avoid errors in the final ball-maze stage. Without his performance, Vatu might have been rushed and vulnerable. At camp he also pushed teammates to contribute more to daily tasks — an intervention that can backfire socially but, this time, produced results without visible blowback. Colby walked a fine line between leadership and alienation and managed it well.

4. Aubry Bracco
Aubry had a curious sequence: Genevieve grew suspicious of her constantly carrying a bag and sent allies to search it, an effort that turned up nothing. Later in the episode it emerged Aubry was the intended target of Christian’s Boomerang Idol play — meaning something was indeed in that bag at some point. Whether the stash arrived after the search or the search missed it isn’t revealed, but the result is that Aubry now holds an idol and the potential for a new ally in Christian. That ambiguity — and the security an idol provides — makes Aubry a more intriguing player moving forward.

3. Christian Hubicki
Christian stumbled upon the Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol at camp, apparently while not actively searching. He gave the idol to Aubry before revealing it to anyone and confided in Rick Devens as his primary ally. Christian also helped defuse tension between Rick and Joe, playing mediator and preventing an emotional flare-up from destabilizing his camp’s dynamics. His calm, strategic sharing of the idol and his social smoothing were both useful plays this week.

2. Rick Devens
Rick combined strategic misdirection with clutch challenge play. He engineered a fake-idol gambit — planting a decoy at Tribal to create panic and voting chaos later — and executed the sleight of hand while Christian created a diversion. That kind of trick could be a game-saver if used at the right moment. Beyond the theatrics, Rick pushed for voting Joe out (painting him as too honorable to survive among big names) and was a key contributor to his tribe’s reward win, moving swiftly and accurately in the ring-toss showdown with Coach. He’s proving to be a strong dual-threat — social and physical.

1. Cirie Fields
Cirie’s turnaround was the clearest narrative swing of the episode. After nearly going home last week — saved only by Ozzy’s intervention — she was suddenly off the chopping block and in a position of influence. She defended Ozzy publicly and benefited when he gave her the Extra Vote he’d won at Exile Island, even though she didn’t need to use it. In days, Cirie shifted from target to power player at camp. That kind of rapid rehabilitation, especially in a season stacked with high-profile competitors, is rare and notable; if Cirie can keep this momentum, her run could be among the season’s most impressive arcs.
