Viva La Difference: Young & Restless Stars Band Together to Make a Change for the Better

Few folks have been as dedicated to raising money for great causes as The Young and the Restless’ Kate Linder (Esther). Her teas are always a good time, bringing fans and stars together help out and raise money for those in need. This time, though, rather than hosting a tea, Linder will be having brunch — and raising money for breast cancer survivors while she’s at it!
“I am happy and honored to join forces with after BREAST CANCER (ABC) to bring increased awareness of what happens during and after a breast cancer diagnosis,” said Kate Linder of the her Shine a Light On Breast Cancer Brunch on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
Serving as co-host will, of course, be Christians Jules Le Blanc (Michael), with Bryton James (Devon), Sean Dominic (Nate) and Conner Floyd (Chance) all joining the duo. And Global News entertainment reporter Morgan Hoffman will serve as emcee for the day as the cast answers questions, sign autographs and holds live and silent auctions to raise money for after BREAST CANCER!
“We are incredibly excited to partner with Kate Linder,” said Alicia Vianga, founder of after BREAST CANCER. “Kate is a powerhouse who gives not only of her time but her incredible heart to help others. Her support will make a big difference.”
Proceeds from the event will fund ABC’s Care KIT! Thrive Program, and vital workshops designed to help cancer survivors navigate their post-treatment lives with dignity and hope.
The brunch will be held in Vaughan, Ontario, this year, just outside of Toronto, if you want to go. And with the chance to not just meet and hang out with the cast, but also help out a good — and the chance to win a closed set tour of Young & Restless — there’s no better place to be!
