Weekly Y&R Spoilers August 18-22: Time’s Up for Nate and Audra
Also this week on Y&R, Holden is holding a torch for Claire. And Tessa continues to surprise Daniel.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for August 18-22 reveal Nate working overtime to find out Audra’s secret. Meanwhile, Holden fights his attraction to Claire, and Daniel sees a new side to Tessa.
Next Week on The Young and the Restless
Audra (Zuleyka Silver) must know that what happens next week is inevitable. Nate (Sean Dominic) is not just smart; he’s intuitive, and he knows something is up with Audra. He knows that ever since his girlfriend returned from Nice, she has been acting cagey about Vibrante.
So there are a couple of teasers focused on the Nate and Audra of it all. He doesn’t know that she tried to seduce Kyle (Michael Mealor) in Nice on Victor’s orders. In addition, he doesn’t know that she made a desperate move in Genoa City on her return. She wouldn’t give up on Vibrante, so she needled Kyle and Claire (Hayley Erin) and ultimately kissed Kyle in front of Claire to cause chaos and drama.
Unsurprisingly, on Monday, Nate senses Audra is keeping a secret. And he’s not one to let that gut feeling lie there. By the end of the week, Nate forces Audra to come clean. Somewhere in between, there’s another element of the story designed to up the intensity.
From the video sneak peek at the end of the August 15 episode, it looks like there’s a chance that Claire, searching for payback, could tell Nate everything that happened. That means Nate might already know everything when he confronts his significant other. Could this be the end of Nate and Audra?
Cane’s Personal and Professional Lives
Cane’s current to-do list includes finding a way to continue with his plans of Genoa City domination without damaging his relationship with Lily (Christel Khalil) any more than he already has. But she’s making that hard with her strategic ultimatum.
She told him she would help him smooth things over with the kids if he gave up on his corporate takeover agenda. Needless to say, Lily and Cane (Billy Flynn) reach a stalemate.
Meanwhile, Cane gets back to business when he tasks Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) with her first assignment. Will she have to betray one of her friends right off the bat?
Odds & Ends
Holden (Nathan Owens) really and truly is into Claire. They share deep conversations and Vespers, after all. But he knows she has a boyfriend and is still mourning the loss of her father, so look for Holden to fight his attraction to Claire. Does it surprise you that Holden is…holding back?
Speaking of forbidden attractions, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) recently admitted to his father that he’s developing feelings for Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). And as a result, he’s also fighting his attraction. But how much longer can he do that when he suddenly sees a new side to her?
Finally, we can’t forget about Victor’s plans for next week. Right now, he’s hoping Nick (Joshua Morrow) will make nice with Cane so the billionaire can concentrate all of his power and might on Jabot. Genoa City residents will need to brace themselves, however, because on Thursday, Victor (Eric Braeden) makes a shocking decision. What does he have in store?
