Why Didn’t Grace Ask Paris for Money on B&B?

Grace’s world has been shattered on The Bold and the Beautiful. The esteemed doctor has lost her career and her freedom because of her scam against Liam. But this could’ve been avoided if Grace had asked a certain someone for help.

Protecting Her Daughters

Grace’s (Cassandra Creech) scheme has made her public enemy number one. Mrs. Buckingham now has to face the wrath of Liam (Scott Clifton) and Bill (Don Diamont) because of her lies. Although Grace apologized and revealed her reason for lying, she’s not getting any sympathy.

Grace was a desperate woman who was trying to protect her family. Reese’s (Wayne Brady) gambling debts put her daughters’ lives at risk, and she saw no other way out.

However, there was another solution to her money troubles.

Grace’s daughter Paris (Diamond White) could’ve given her the cash. Paris is engaged to Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), and he has Forrester money. Paris has the means to help Grace, and odds are she would’ve if her mother had reached out.

So why didn’t Grace turn to Paris in the first place?

As the matriarch of the Buckingham family, Grace feels it’s her duty to look after her daughters. Paris and Zoe’s (Kiara Barnes) lives were at stake, and Grace needed to protect them. She didn’t want to alarm them by telling them what’s going on.

But now they do know, and chances are they’re upset. When and if Paris does return, she’ll want answers from her mother. And Grace will learn that she should’ve turned to her daughter in the first place.

Unfortunately, Grace made her mistakes, and now she’s got to live with them. While Paris might not have helped her mother with her money troubles, maybe she can help keep Grace out of prison. Although that will be tough with Liam and Bill breathing down their necks.
