Y&R Spoilers: Cole’s Tragic Death — Claire’s Breakdown & Victoria’s Daughter in Danger
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will face a difficult time processing her father, Cole Howard’s (J Eddie Peck) death.
She wasn’t prepared for him to die so suddenly. She wanted more time with him. She only discovered her biological parents two years ago.
Cole was the glue that held Claire together. After Claire concluded she had been brainwashed by her unhinged Aunt Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk), Cole was gentle and loving with his daughter.
He patiently waited for her to want a relationship with him. It didn’t take long for Claire to crave a loving relationship with her dad. She connected with him before her mother, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Cole’s Death Puts Claire In A Dangerous Place
With Cole gone, Claire feels more alone than ever. She has a close relationship with her mother, but there’s a hole in her heart longing for her dad. Victoria is going through her own grief. She loved Cole deeply and wanted to spend her life with him.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Cole’s death and Kyle being away in France put Claire in a dangerous place. She will lean on a stranger for support, and that could be a huge mistake.
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) ordered Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) to keep tabs on Claire, among three other people (Adam, Mariah, and Chelsea). Cane specifically wanted Holden to develop a friendship with Claire.
Y&R spoilers say that Claire could be in danger getting close to Holden. There is little information about Cane’s motives, and no one knows the real reason he is toying with the Genoa City elite.
Cane Targets Claire To Hurt The Newmans
For whatever reasons that only make sense to Cane, he devised a plan for Holden to grow close to Claire. He has a revenge plot against Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and Claire could be a part of that plan.
Cane’s revenge plot is complicated, as he appears to target most of the key players on The Young and the Restless. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) seem to be on his hit list, too.
Regardless of Cane’s real motive, Claire seems to be a catalyst for Cane to get a rise out of the Abbotts and Newmans. With her being a Newman and in a serious relationship with an Abbott, it puts her in a dangerous place, as Cane’s revenge plot takes shape.
