The Week of July 14-18
The week of July 14-18 sees Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) witness Cane holding Damian Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers) stabbed body. Will she use the chance to convince Cane to trust her and let her help? He needs allies when the criminal investigation begins.
Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Josh Morrow) finds out something distressing and worries about the bond between Phyllis and Cane. As a result, Sharon Newman (Joshua Morrow) helps Nick come up with a plan to save Red.
Nick wants Phyllis to see Cane’s chicanery and steer clear of the dark man.
At the same time, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) promises to protect his family and counts on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to help him fight back against Cane’s business takeovers.
Cane stands accused of murder, but he has Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) to depend on. To this end, Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) keep tabs on Holden now that they know he is a lying liar of the lies.
Over in Nice, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) may make Cane look guilty of murder although we know he is innocent.
As for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he may pull out of Abbott Communications or alternately try to gain control of the business, leaving Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) livid.
During the week, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) have regrets after crossing a line.
The Week of July 21-25
During the week of July 21-25, Audra and Kyle have to face the fact that they are cheaters. When cell service is restored, Kyle calls Claire and learns that her dad Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) has died–talk about adding to his guilt!
Both Kyle and Audra vow to not tell Claire nor grieving Nate about their lapse in judgment. At the same time, Nate and Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) cannot believe that Damian is gone.
The Week of July 28-August 1
As the month ends, and during the week of July 28-August 1, Victoria helps Nate as he struggles over the death of his brother, Damian.
Will we see Cane arrested for Damian’s murder, or is there a shocking turn of events yet to unfold? Eventually Chance hands over the case to the French authorities. There is something off about Carter (Vincent Stalba), and many fans think that he is the one who stabbed Damian.
If this is true, will he stand by as Cane is framed, or will he come forward to help?
Back in GC, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is haunted by the memory of smothering The Stranger to death after a boozy night out.
As she continues to distance herself from Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), her wife grows closer to Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). Is Sharon the only one who can save her now?
