Kendra Bates from Suddenly Amish is living it up and is back to her normal LA life. In a recent post, she stated she did not want to continue on the show just for the sake of it. She also stated that she wanted to experience the Amish life once, and she did. Her departure wasn’t all bad, because Kendra decided to introduce a few Amish practices into her life now. She embraced the Amish way of dressing modestly and adopted a different outlook on life. More than that, she did many things like she used to in the Amish community.
One of the things she learnt from the Amish is how to make her own butter. Kendra even bought a butter churner and made homemade butter. She was excited about it and posted about it on social media. Additionally, she also made sourdough bread from scratch. And not just once, she tried it many times, and she got the perfect sourdough. Apart from that, she also made Amish muffins out of Sarah’s recipe.
Suddenly Amish: James Is Obsessed With Kendra, Atleast That’s What His Comments Say
James is not being lowkey when interacting with Kendra’s posts. The Suddenly Amish star, Kendra Bates, now regularly posts on her social media. In one of her recent posts, where she photodumped from a farm with cute animal photos, James left his comment. He wrote, “On that first picture, you’re on the fence. The real question is, are you on the fence of trying to become Amish?” Kendra’s reaction to this was hilarious.
Kendra took a screenshot of the comments and reposted it as her Instagram Story. She wrote, “Why you so obsessed with me?” referencing Mariah Carey’s song that is now a trending audio on social media. Kendra isn’t wrong. In the past, too, James had commented on her post, saying, “Getting closer to becoming an Amish wife.” Everyone has a hunch that James wanted to marry Kendra, but she left before that could happen.
Now, Kendra is living her LA life and doing little Amish things, like making butter and baking Amish muffins.
