Emmerdale fans are certain that a soap icon could be heading back to take down evil Dr Todd
Emmerdale could be welcoming back a soap legend to kill off evil Dr Todd.
Dr Todd (Caroline Harker) has been causing plenty of drama in the village recently. At first she, made medical student Jacob Sugden’s (Joe-Warren Plant) work a living nightmare.

Not only did she push him to his absolute limits, but she also gaslit him, calling him out over his mistakes. Dr Todd then turned her attention to Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and blackmailed her for weeks over the true parentage of Leyla Sugden.
The evil doctor demanded £100,000 from the Woolpack co-owner, leaving Charity feeling desperate. And recently, things took a horrifying turn when Dr Todd sexually assaulted Charity.
In horrifying scenes, after Charity got drunk, Todd locked the door and proceeded to sexually assault a passed-out Charity on the sofa. She then woke up horrified, and Todd left.
Now, amid viewer uproar, and after making plenty of enemies in the village, fans are convinced Dr Todd will be killed off. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, viewers reckon Charity’s daughter Debbie (Charley Webb) could be the one who puts an end to Dr Todd for good.

As the daughter of Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Charity (Emma Atkins), Debbie – who made her debut in 2002 – played a part in several big moments on the soap. From disastrous relationships to DNA twists, Debbie’s time in the Dales was not short of drama. However, she was last seen in 2021.
Talking about the horrifying twist on the soap. Emma Atkins, who plays Charity, previously said in a statement: “This has been one of the most demanding and significant storylines I’ve had to navigate as Charity. We know her as a tough, resilient character, but this trauma will expose a deep, raw vulnerability that has been heartbreaking to play at times.
“I hope this storyline gives even one person the courage to speak out or helps others understand the quiet devastation of trauma.”
