Emmerdale Shock: Police close in on Dr Todd horrifying ordeal after sexual assault
Police close in on shocked Dr Todd in new Emmerdale spoiler video after sexual assault

This Emmerdale bombshell is set to send shockwaves through the village as Dr Todd is hauled in for questioning after Charity Dingle reports the appalling attack that has left her reeling.
Tomorrow’s episode of Emmerdale takes a grim turn when Doctor Caitlin Todd (Caroline Harker) is taken to the police station to be questioned over the sexual assault of Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).
The situation has been building for weeks after Dr Todd turned ruthless and began tightening the screws on Charity over the money she has been desperate to secure. Holding the secret of baby Leyla’s parentage over her, she demanded an eye-watering £100,000 in exchange for staying silent.
Charity, pushed to breaking point, managed to hand over £30,000 after stealing items from the depot. But the pressure did not stop there. In a chilling warning, Dr Todd told her the remaining money had to arrive within 24 hours or she would expose everything at Sarah Sugden’s (Katie Hill) 21st birthday celebration.
Unable to cope with the fear and strain, Charity turned to alcohol and tried to shut out the chaos around her. That decision left her vulnerable, and in a tense confrontation, she snapped back at Caitlin, telling her to go ahead and reveal the truth to Sarah.

That appears to have pushed Dr Todd into a dark and calculated move. Feeling she had lost control, she waited until Charity passed out from the drink, then sexually assaulted her in a devastating scene that changes everything.
In the immediate aftermath, Charity made the brave decision to go to the police and report what had happened. She was interviewed by DS Reid (Angela Lonsdale) and underwent a physical examination so evidence could be collected.
DS Reid then told Charity that Caitlin would be arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, leaving Charity stunned to learn that what she experienced would be classified legally in that way, rather than as rape.

But will Dr Todd actually admit what she did when the police question her, or will she try to twist the story and protect herself as the pressure mounts?
And what will this mean for Charity, who is already wrestling with whether she can bring herself to tell her loved ones what has happened?
