LEAKED!!! Survivor alums competing against real survivalists in new show

A brand-new competition series, Survivors vs Survivalists, has now been revealed — and it could set up one of reality TV’s most talked-about matchups.
The concept is simple, but the stakes are what make it interesting: former Survivor castaways will go head-to-head with real survivalists.
That raises the obvious question: can the Survivor alums keep pace with the experts? The answer could finally settle a debate that has lived on across social media for years.
It also creates a fresh challenge for fan favorites from both worlds.
Survivors vs Survivalists coming to reality TV
According to reports, the Discovery Channel is behind the new series.
Each episode is expected to pit three Survivor alums against three survivalists.
Then the following episode will reportedly bring in a whole new group of six contestants.
With so many former castaways available, the format could be repeated for quite a while.
It has also been reported that some of the survivalists have reality TV backgrounds of their own. That opens the door to familiar names from shows like Alone, Naked and Afraid, and Outlast.
One of the biggest draws here is the mix of two different kinds of reality competition.
Can the former castaways hold their own against genuine experts? That alone should be enough reason for viewers to check in each week.
Filming is expected to take place in Panama, which gives the competitors a dramatic setting for the showdown.
Now fans can see whether players like Jonathan Young, Yul Kwon, Boston Rob Mariano, Wendell Holland, Vecepia Towery, Parvati Shallow, Tyson Apostol, and others can truly outwit, outplay, and outlast people who are used to surviving in the wild.
At the moment, there are still no confirmed episode details or cast release dates, but the concept is already strong enough to generate buzz.
For viewers who have long argued that Survivor is not as tough as it looks, this may be the perfect chance to root for the survivalists every week.
Stay tuned for more updates on this new series. Since the lineup changes each week, it may also be a more manageable watch than some longer network competitions.
