Jonathan Young is not hiding how he feels after Survivor 50 wrapped, and his latest message has only added more fuel to the conversation. The Survivor 42 alum was reportedly stunned by the result and believed the game should have ended with him holding the title.

But the Survivor 50 jury went a different way, giving Aubry Bracco the $2 million prize in a season that already had fans debating every move. Jonathan still walked away with a solid runner-up payday, but that didn’t stop the disappointment from lingering.

Even after the finale, Jonathan has continued to make the rounds in interviews, despite skipping post-vote press in the immediate aftermath. Now, he is speaking out again with a message that feels equal parts gratitude and unfinished business.

Jonathan Young thanks Survivor fans and haters

Jonathan recently shared a Facebook post that quickly drew a wave of reaction from supporters and critics alike.

“To my friends, family, fans, and even to the haters. Thank you for watching my journey on Survivor,” he wrote.

Then came the line that had viewers wondering whether this is far from the end of his reality TV story: “It didn’t turn out like I hoped but I hear the third time is the charm,” Jonathan teased with a wink.

He ended the note simply: “Until next time,” followed by a peace sign.

Fans wasted no time responding. “You got robbed You were the sole survivor,” one person commented, and the post quickly piled up hundreds of likes.

Another fan added, “Thought you had it. I had great hopes in the ‘Prince of the trailer park!!!’”

One especially long reply even offered Jonathan advice for a potential third run, suggesting he study how winners work the final tribal council and learn to give jurors the answers they want when it matters most. The message pointed him toward Boston Rob Mariano as a mentor, while still praising the way Jonathan plays with authenticity.

Jonathan also shared a post on Instagram, and that drew a notable response from Survivor champion Boston Rob Mariano.

“You do the best you can!!! ….and then…. You try again!🔥…. and again and again until you win…don’t quit and you’ll get there eventually! Proud of you, brother!❤️,” Boston Rob wrote.

Paulie Calafiore, known for The Challenge and Big Brother, also chimed in with praise: “Great job brother! AMAZING game play!”

Another supporter was even more direct: “You need to go again! My whole family was rooting for you — the epitome of a true Survivor!!!”
