When is the Survivor 50 season finale?
The Survivor 50 season finale is already on the horizon.
CBS issued an official press release to heighten excitement. It worked.
It’s still unclear how much the winner gets this season, but a previous report on Tea on TV presented a theory.
The MrBeast episode should shine a light on the situation. But back to the topic at hand.

When is the Survivor 50 season finale on CBS?
“One castaway will be crowned Sole Survivor and awarded the grand prize, on the live Season 50 finale, hosted by Jeff Probst, on Survivor, Wednesday, May 20,” reads the release.
It’s a three-hour finale, beginning at 8/7c on CBS. Having the Live Reunion Show also seems to indicate that we could get some “live” moments as we watch the final taped challenges.
For the first time in years, the winner has not been revealed ahead of the season finale. Recent seasons in Fiji have recorded pizza parties on the same night as voting.
This time, the votes were placed, but Jeff Probst didn’t read them to the castaways. Instead, that moment has been saved for “live” television on May 20.
Previous episodes from the season are streaming on Paramount+. There are also still many episodes ahead before that mid-May finale. How will it all end? We have to keep tuning in on Wednesday nights to find out.
Survivor 51 and Survivor 52 to film soon
New seasons of Survivor are on the way for the 2026-2027 television season. Filming for 51 and 52 will happen later this spring and into early summer. Yes, they are filming in Fiji again, despite many fans yearning for new locations.
Applications are also still open for future seasons of the show. Could we get a celebrity or two in the mix? Several have expressed interest, including Derek Hough from Dancing with the Stars and Dylan Efron from The Traitors.
