Leaked! Episode 12 Could Send Two More Castaways Packing as the Finale Looms

After last week’s jaw-dropping double elimination, the big question now is whether two more castaways will see their torches snuffed tonight. It’s the penultimate episode of Survivor 50, which means the finale is right around the corner and the remaining numbers have to shrink fast. But if two players do leave, will a fresh twist throw the game into chaos, or are we simply in for a double episode with back-to-back Tribal Councils?
No matter how it plays out, almost everyone has a target on their back—except maybe Joe Hunter, at least until he irritates Cirie Fields again. With the end so close, every player is focused on taking someone out while someone else is focused on making sure they become jury number one. Still, anything can happen this late in the game, and it looks like Survivor 50 is still anyone from the Final 7’s to lose.
Frenemies reunite at camp
Back at camp, Cirie is furious with Devens for coming after her, but she’s even more annoyed to learn that Ozzy Lusth is gone. Rizo Velovic returns and immediately tells Cirie that Ozzy spilled everything to Aubry Bracco, which only makes her angrier. She admits she never would have kept Ozzy around this long if she had known he was an idiot—her words, though she used a few more expletives.
Rick Devens publicly gives Jonathan Young full credit for getting rid of Ozzy on his own, and that frustrates Aubry. Jonathan then congratulates Aubry for helping make it happen, saying she played her part perfectly and he hopes they can keep working together. Still, Aubry knows this is a fragile stage of the game. She made the wrong endgame choices in her first season, and she is determined not to repeat that mistake.
The next morning, before sunrise, Devens is already hunting for an idol after using his last one at the previous Tribal Council. Aubry notices and tells Joe and Jonathan. Jonathan immediately starts trailing Devens everywhere like a shadow. The rest of the tribe laughs about it, but the move works perfectly for Aubry, keeping the heat on Devens and the spotlight off her as she continues playing the middle during a very dangerous stretch of the game.
Joe approaches Devens at the hammock, and Devens says he has searched everywhere. He gets emotional while explaining that he tries to stay positive and never wants to count himself out, but this could be the end for him. Joe seems to comfort him with a shoulder squeeze, but in confessional, Devens insists that in Edge of Extinction he was more than just the idol guy—he was also a four-time challenge winner. In other words, he is not ready to go down just yet.
